  1. I dont think he said he wanted to get 200kw, just wants to know if he can run the 3 mods on a stock ecu id be interested to know also as im interested in a smilar set up.
  2. blow flames?? do u have a aftermarket ecu or is it ok to use the stealth fx as is with just a turbo back and the car runs good??
  3. only one way to find out. just use the art of elimination and take the atmo bov off and put your stocky on.
  4. Hey all I own a stocky R33 which will soon have a turbo back exhaust fitted after new years and my question is as simple as the title. Is a pod safe to use if combined with a airbox like the ones sold on this website?? Would a panel filter be more of a worthwhile investment as it uses the standard box?? And lastly in regards to panel filters do they create any type of induction noise when the underlining of the stock airbox is taken off?? Im guessing the spooling noise will increase with the turboback zorst so maybe that will increase the induction noise some what maybe??? These are my assumptions. so yeh any opinions or personal experiences you would like to share with this would be great. I was given a GFB stealth fx bov for xmas but after reading up on bov's im looking for other more efficient ways of getting induction noise as i dont plan on getting an aftermarket ecu to fit a bov and i dont want my car running shite. BTW hope all you guys are enjoying the xmas break

  6. Even if you have the springs correctly adjusted and it set to like 90% plumback and 10% atmo for sound this will still cause probs will it?? Is the AFM and ecu so damn picky even after a ecu reset????

Hi there a mate of mine gave me a GFB stealth FX BOV as an early xmas pressie and i want to put on my car I own a R33 series 2 as I want the so called wankfactor sound hehe (personal preference I guess). They vent both to the atmo and plumback. I only have a 3 inch turbo back exhaust, are these good and stop those normal associated problems skylines have with BOV's. According to the GFB website this one is good. But I dont trust em I trust you guys and your opinions. thanks and sorry for the BOV question i wont ask another one this is it.
  9. Hey i was just checking out the front bumper and the area where the FMIC is meant to sit and it looks very tight in there. I have the standard series 2 front bar with the additional lip and it seems to me that a fmic wont fit. BTW im planning on getting one of those Blitz LM FMIC which hook up to standard piping. Just wondering would it fit without a prob of are modification to the bumper needed.
  10. with the over richening though its a vent to atmo and recirculate so if installed properly then that shouldnt be much of a prob others are using similar bov's with no probs, but seriously though $700!!! thats just not worth it.
  11. In regards to the cat. Is it safe and ok to be running such a hi flowing cat converter on a otherwise stock car or doesnt it matter?? Just someone said these kinds of cats are used with high HP applications only and better to get just a smaller 3 inch hi flo cat if using it on a stocker.

  13. Yeh dont see a prob with a quiet one, better than having a droney exhaust. Atleast u get performance without having to worry bout the cops on your back.

  15. Yeh im interested to know aswell how to DIY. My front bar has a dent in it looks like a big stone chip. Also are there any good books or touch up kits that can be bought as I wouldnt mind touching up some stone chips and scatches on my front and rear bars.
