  1. I got some quotes from just cars and got third party fire and theft for a 1989 toyota celsior worth 13g for $608 a year + $1500 excess wich isnt to bad considering im only 18 and its a gray import its also stored on the gold coast
  2. not sure if if been said on not but a guy in brisbane has a number plate OHSHIT (TIH5HO) splet backward with a 5 so when its seen in the mirror well you get it.
  3. cheers for the replies guys looks like an import is the way to go.
  4. yeah im not going for some car the been fully modded and had the guts drifted out of it. I just want a nice clean white gtst with mags and a bit of a body kit not to fused on engine side of this as long as its in good working order.
  5. Yeah I though about that but on the web sites you can get nice moded one for about 11g and and similar in australia cost heaps more in from what ive seen. So im prepeared to take the risk thats why I have 5 g spare incase something stuff up.
  6. Thanks for the replies I am aware it is a 15 yera old sports car. I just dont want to be told its has good mechanicals/great exterier then receive the car and be let down. I also have another 5g on top of my stated budget if there is something wrong with the car. Basically the question im asking is for 10 to 13g will i get a nice r32 gtst with no major mechanical problems (eg require engine rebuild after 1 month of receiving it can pay for it if it happens though) and good exterior small dints scratches to be expected. From what i heard j-spec and prestige sound honest and I am deciding between on of those for my car. Thanks James James
  7. Hi new to forum thought I would post here rather than make a new thread. Im planing to spend 10 to13g on a 1989 gtsts skyline + $2000 for compliance regoetc within the next two months just gotta get my new job sorted. I have been looking for a while and think I will get quite a reasonable gtst for that money i just want to know if you guys think I will I dont want to kid myself as I have never imported a car before. Thanks in advance James
