its more of the problem if you get some dodgy guy who will stuff you around for the money when the bill comes in.... wheras with insurance you just report it get it fixed and if the guy is dodgy the insurance company takes care of it and you got no probs.... ohhh and i dont have a canberra fetish here but you gotta love how close everything is because even in melbourne I would rack up big petrol costs on my car which is running 9 to 10 litres per 100kms

im just driving a 97 pulsar now but now i have a manual license and no restrictions on the i am seriously considering a line.... (gota love canberra for that at least) although with the amount of tailgating that goes on in canberra and some of the drivers here, i dont know if i would want to drive around with no insurance as that looks like the biggest problem so far if i go for a line
