  2. fair call mate, but the joy of sending it to AFP...karma.
  3. i saw a bayside blue r33 today in the city missing a frontbar, and what may or may not have been a smaller intercooler than what that car normally has....

  5. one i posted must be diff to shell's. both idiots nonetheless
  6. sigh. http://allclassifieds.com.au/c/ac?a=vc&i=543419354 if THAT doesn't work. trying searching for it with the tags "skyline r34", its going for 11k....

  10. spotted a gunmetal series 2 r33 at woden just before, SAU sticker on rear window, and gold mags with polished lip. never seen a set of mags suit a car more, and it sounded great too
  11. spotted aussie rice today white VX commodore, with those monaro GTO bonnets, painted black spun me out a bit, looked ok...almost ok, but black bonnet on a a commodore...
  12. Business Name: Mitzi's Location: Red Hill Lookout Food Type: Austrian Taste: 5.5/10 Service: 5/10 Value: 4/10 Parking: plenty, as on red hill lookout went there for a mates 21st, bottle of austrian wine was $33, entree of smoked salmon with bits of toasted sliced white bread (your sandwich shit) and a few cut up leaves of iceberg lettuce - $16. small eye fillet with roast potato and peppercorn sauce, asked m/rare, got it beyond medium, $30. coffee was shit, mate had a slice of apple strudel, $15 for an expensive restaurant, service could've been better, more interaction with customers, they were fairly friendly though, and all meals came out at the same time
  13. spotted a white stagea with nice looking rims near woden yesterday or the day before, turning onto hindmarsh....looked veeerrrry nice
  14. apparently, jay95r33... so SAU search says...
  15. central cafe is good for the experience, that mixed grill is just stupidly massive, tastes like shit too...for the money u spend on that, go to a proper restaurant and spend the same on an eye fillet, for better satisfaction from a steak good idea this thread, i find it interesting, as someone pointed out, how everyone rates certain places, i rate something highly, which someone else won't, whereas someone else might rate a place for good food, which i find shit. same as service, working in a proper fine dining restaurant, i find the service anywhere terrible (even taking certain things into consideration) i'm yet to try that The land of goat sphincter rings place in erindale that nik mentioned, apparently they are somehow/once affiliated with pide house, i love The land of goat sphincter rings (read: all middle eastern) food, and anything diff from pide house would be a good change. as for oporto, they were good when they first opened, but f**ked if i'm spending so much for a burger, the single fillet or whatever it is...absolute joke.
  16. bright green nissan exa......maybe an aqua sorta colour? if so, sounds like a guy who goes by the username "tyler" on the syndicatemotorsports forums i'm not dobbing the bloke in, for saying that it was him at all, but there aren't many bright green exa's in canberra, so maybe hit him up
  17. Business Name: Sammy's Kitchen Location: City Food Type: Malaysian/Chinese Taste: 10/10 Service: 5/10 Value: 9/10 Parking: Bit difficult since they started constructing that new area. I work in a restaurant, and come from a family who have all been chefs at some point in our lives, so we know what good food is, sammy's is one of the only restaurants in canberra that we'll eat at... their shantung chicken is the best in canberra, to which no other place can match (apparently the owner mixes the sauce after hours so that no one can steal his recipe), and their rock salt calamari is perfect... service is shit, same as at babar or lisboa for example, so they can turn over tables as quickly as they can, but food is awesome and very well priced. Business Name: Ruby's/Jimmy's Location: Dickson Food Type: Chinese Taste: 9/10 Service: 6.5/10 Value: 6/10 Parking: Dickson, not too hard I've put these two together cos they're roughly the same. they're seafood menu is farken awesome, albeit expensive...i've never eaten from their normal a la carte menu, only been there for wedding receptions (ruby's twice), and pre set seafood lunches (jimmy's). lobster/crab/oysters rock, but yeh...expensive.
  18. as MIVEC said, it's more retarded adults than anyone else. i really wish i didn't have road rage
  19. shannons quoted me for full compo and 3rd party, granted it was a supercharged mr2, and i was 19... but even that's a bit more "acceptable" than 16/17yrs and a turbo skyline. not picking on you beau, just saying its possible they couldve said NO fullstop based on age and car..
  20. i'd suggest vigil insurance, they work well with young modified owners
  21. PLEASE tell me if was purely an accident, and nothing which bashers could blame on hooning. hope the driver is OK

  24. leigh i was shocked when i read inside here that ppl broke into your car, karma comes around mate. bad thing about something like this, is that it's obviously somebody who lives in the complex, or a friend of that somebody.
  25. f**k that's gun wrenching mate, good to see you got out alright though can't see much beyond pipes and radiator support, but that does look a wee bit written off, shame about the new front bar and fmic eh.
