  1. These high knock readings only occur in second around 60-80 and in third 130 in the higher rpm 5000+.
  2. Thank's Dezz. If it was the case of a blown globe or the warning turned off or set to high shouldnt i still hear the thing ping it's head off? Also is it easy to check the warning and setting on the H/C.
  3. I am concerned with my knock readings. Expecially on cold mornings i see up to 130 sometimes, though having said that i never hear any pinging and the engine light does not even flicker. Even other times under the same conditions the knock reading is much less like around the 50 mark? I am really confused and a bit worried. Should i be getting it looked at although i cant hear any pinging what so ever?

    You have a PM.
  5. Hey OVADRV. I'm running the slide max oversize with the VG30 rear housing and was making 260 at the rear's on stock injectors which were running at around 92-95% duty cycle with a fuel reg. I have replaced the injectors with Nismo 550's mainly so it would be more safe, but at the same time i was hoping for maybe a little more power. It was running 17psi and i told the tunner to go up to 19psi if it pushed out more power. He tried but the little hi-flow just wouldn't do it. I was told it actually went backwards in performance when he bumped it up more. Having said that he meant not to just gain a higher kw reading but the overall power curve. Hope this helps. BTW the duty cycle is now around the 60-65% mark at this power.
  6. Yes.
  7. Of course this is true if the SITC is set to 0 it would not do a thing. It was adjusted and tuned on the dyno and still did not gain anything. Yet two weeks later i went back with the power fc with no other mods, this was installed and tuned and 15 kw was gained and the car was completely different in the way that it delivered the power. It was very smooth and just a totally different car to drive. Hope this help's.
  8. Hi there. My personal experience was first i had an SAFC2. Then i purchased a SITC and had this installed. There was no gain in power at all and the car did not feel any different. In my opinion this was a waste of money. So in my experience of now having a power fc (although they are hard to come by), Is a much better option in the way that it delivers it's power and it's ability to be able to handle after market mods like Z32 afm, bigger injectors, turbo etc. So if you ask me i would sell the SITC and the SAFC and try and source some sort of aftermarket full replacement ECU. Hope this helps.
  9. Is the problem present when the boost is turned down? This could possibly be rich and retard (R&R) as my car was doing the exact same thing and a SAFC solved the problem. Hope this help's
  10. Hey Robo how's it going. Im running the Nankang nsII's on the back in a 255 on 18's. That's the widest i could go due to the offset of the rims. They are not to bad on very grippy roads but generally do break traction in second with 260kw. So i think you might be dissapointed with these tyres. Hope this help's.
  11. Wheels are now sold. Turbo and air flow meter are still avaliable.

  13. Here is a series one turbo for sale. It was removed from my car at approx 80,000 kms in perfect working condition and has made 195rwkw. It does have very minimal shaft play and does not include actuator. $385 including delivery. Also a set of 4 standard R33 wheels with tyres which are in excellent condition. Approx 85-90% tread left on them. All tyres are 225/50/16. Pick up only for the wheels from the northern suburbs of Melbourne. $350. Also a series one air flow meter in perfect condition. $110 including delivery.
  14. Keep your old cat for when you need to put it back on for EPA purposes. Go and purchase an old commodore cat, doesn't matter the condition it's in. Go to a workshop and have them weld flanges on to a three inch pipe. Now with the commodore cat you have purchased get them to unpick the outer shell off and weld this over the pipe. Now obviously the side with the small holes in it goes upwards. Now you have a high flow cat. Enjoy
  15. SLIDE. That is all.
  16. 260kw on stock injectors with all other supporting mods using slide hi-flow running 17 psi. Also the use of a nismo fuel pressure reg helped.
  17. I have a air flow meter avaliable in perfect condition. What's a reasonable price for you?
  18. You have PM.....
  19. I've used a walbro in the past. Ran 195 rwkw no probs. Now run a 040 which i think is muchbetter. I asked a workshop why do you dislike the walbro and was given the response well have you ever seen a bosch 040 and a walbro side by side the walbro is half the size if not smaller, so how could it perform the same as the bosch!
  20. Please explain your theory in detail?
  21. This is the case with my car. If i dont let it warm up it will hit 100%. But after this it only ever see's no more than 90% duty cycle. The car is a R33 GTST using the stock injectors with a nismo FPR and is making 260RWKW. It's not a happy dyno as i first thought because the car was run on there dyno when it was 160kw and was run on two different dyno's in the space of 3 months and between all three it varied 1kw.
