  1. Other mods are. Power Fc, FMIC, full exhaust, Nismo reg, Bosch 040, Z32 AFM and using a turbotech boost controller which holds boost very well at that level. Oh and upgraded the clutch to a Exedy cushion button.
  2. Car: R33 GTST Mods: Full exhaust, with very hi-flow cat Bosch 040 Nismo fuel reg Power FC FMIC Nismo 550 injectors Exedy clutch Z32 air flow meter Turbotech boost controller running 17 psi Slide hi-flow max oversize with VG30 rear housing
  3. Car is a R33 GTST. It has the Slide max oversize hi-flow with the VG30 rear on it. The tuner was quite impressed with the results and the way the turb's performed as he said by as early as 2200rpm it was at 5psi and by 3500 rpm it's at full boost which in this case was set at 17psi.
  4. You want results. I'll give you results. ( Hope you dont mind me posting this in here Joe)
  5. Hey people. Have some items up for sale. -Series one air flow meter. Perfect working order and both sides of mesh are very good. $100 -S15 red top either 440 or 480cc's good for around 270-280 without a reg. Were not needed for my tune. "SOLD" -Dual stage boost controller. I use to have a hi-low switch in cabin but switched to normal bleed valve as i was always running hi setting. Holds boost very well. $100 -Walbro 255 lt per hour pump. Perfect working order, was running 195rwkw no worries. About 12 months old. $110. -HKS EVC. I believe it's the EVC3, but does not have the in cabin control. $90 All prices include delivery. Both the HKS EVC3 and the dual stage boost controller were on the car when it was imported.
  6. No worries. Let me know when it's out of the car so i can see them and buy them there and then if im interested.
  7. Hey Tai what area of Melbourne are you in as im very interested
  8. I've got the max oversize with the vg30 rear and it's only on 11 psi at the moment until next Saturday's tune. Anyway by the time it hits 3500 rpm it's go time..
  9. Hi Tangles. I had the same problem with this line it was actually hitting the housing and looked like i had no hope of getting it. We took of a support bolt near the rear of the block and with a bit of slight bending and plenty of swearing finally got it. I thought maybe it was hitting because of the VG30 rear housing being bigger, but not sure of this? Anyway all is good now and it's been running on the car now for about three weeks. Will be getting tune done soon.
  10. Hey Phill. I just replaced mine with a Exedy cushion button clutch. Go see Levi down at Autobahn in Epping and tell him you want it for the same price your mate with the Blue R33 got it for which was $500.
  11. Hey Phill. Yeah i'd think this would be the max oversize lowrb is talking about. I've just installed one of the max oversize ones on my R33. Booked in for a retune in 3 weeks (as soon as i could). Also will be changing from walbro to a 040, S15 injectors and Z32 AFM. Will let you know how it goes if your interested. Also you work at Ford in Epping. Supprised i havent spotted you yet.
  12. Hi bj. If your concerned about the cost of new injectors as i was all you need to do is to purchase some red top injectors from an S15. I had to buy two set's of four, but the cost was less than half over new nismo injectors. Try some Silvia web sites. I found mine on Silvia club of NSW. Ive been told they are good for around 250 ish and thats without a fuel pressure reg. Hope this helps.
  13. Hi guys and girls. Could someone please advise me on the flywheel torque settings. Also does any other bolts require doing up with a torque wrench? Thanks.
  14. After going to an auto electrican and having the voltage tested on my R33. The voltage is already 13.8 direct to the fuel pump. He said it already has a relay standard?
  15. Yes the extra 500 or so is very well worth it. I've had both and would never look back now im running the power fc.
  16. Been using the Hankook Ventus for about 4-5 months now and they are fantastic for drifting. THAT'S IT. If you are after a tyre that grips well do not buy these are they are absolute rubbish. I admit i didnt expect much for the money but when the guy at the shop praised them i thought hmmm give em a go. Expected better than than that. Alot better.
  17. I Had very similar work done to my air con unit as it was stuffed. Had all the things you had done except for the evaporator and hoses (not sure what the evaporator is for?). Anyway they had the car for two days and charged me $1050.
  18. Hey Paul. Just a quick question. What injectors can i get for $600 and where from. Car: R33 GTST.
  19. I gained an extra 29 kw from the SAFC. Also eventually added an SITC to control the timing. I have now ditched both and run a power fc. Power was only another 5 ish kw but as said previously it's not in the overall power reading but in the fat arse power curve. Nigel from Racingline tuned it and got me another 15 kw at around the 5000 mark. The power delivery from the SAFC to the power fc is not comparable. Its much more smoother and pulls much more harder. Please think about the extra $$ to get the power fc because it is really worth it. But at the end of the day it's your $$$.
  20. Hi people. What about some other brand apart from Nismo, Sard etc. Was wondering if Bosch do a replacement injector. Does anyone know if Bosch do and if so are they heaps cheaper, about the same, good or shite.
  21. Couldn't agree with you more Geoff. Izzy and the crew are fantastic as they are all very polite and always have time to talk. I recently had a flywheel machined and after picking it up we started talking skylines for an hour. After leaving i thought to myself i only spent $40 there, i was treated as i had just spent $4000. BTW: I hope your feeling better Geoff. When you up for a lakes brekkie
  22. Hi Shane. I know it's a bit of topic, but could i ask at what power did the stockies run out at. Im upgrading the turbo and just wondering what roughly the 370cc will do.
  23. LOL I'll let you guy's know if the wiring melts. Just having a guess but could it be to do with JAP road laws?
