  1. Thanks for the reply Hayden. It's heaps better now with all four working together. Before i was like, these lights are crap.
  2. Hi People. Just asking the question as to whether or not it is normal for your low beams (driving lights) to switch of when the high beams are activated, and then when the high beams are switched of the low beams come back on. I have since have the problem rectified, but this stumped the auto elec as he found no items faulty ie switch was fine, fuses etc. Ended up running a relay from the high beams to the low beams.
  3. Try Mode Auto Electrical. Peter Bevc Mobile- 0418369634 PO box 207 Fawkner Vic He does alot of work at the yards along Sydney Road. Supplied and fitted both Alarm and turbo timer. Really friendly and professional.
  4. Hi Paul. With the stock R33 injectors what would you think they are capable of. Obviously with the supporting mods such as fuel pressure reg, pump etc. Also im currently using the walbro. Do you think they are that bad? Im after around 230-240 mark. Should i change to a 040? Thanks.
  5. Hey guys. cant be buggered reading through all the pages. Would like to Know if anyone is running aroung the 18-19psi mark with one of these. If so is it holding boost well, spiking issues etc. I've had one now for over a year but only running 12psi on stock turbo without any issues at all. cheers
  6. Also you should be able to push the stock injectors to around maybe 230-240RWKW max with a fuel pump (which you already have), and a nismo fuel reg for around $200. Or you can try Nengun and wait for a little bit but get it cheaper. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi there. Deffinately POWER FC. You (i presume) are still running the standard airflow meter where it is probabley very close to maxing out as mine is at 192RWKW. I thought you could run a z32 with a SAFC but was told that i would run into problems in doing this. By the way this was said by Nigel at racingline. So now am running power fc and is much better than SAFC not gaining so much in overall power but a much smoother and fatter power curve. Nig gained me 15kw around the 5000rpm mark which you can really feel.
  8. When mars is trader, he can avertise his own wares thanks - R31Nismoid
  9. Hi Adrian. I was looking at the Toyo RA1's which Robo suggested. Would the Nitto's compared to these in wearing out be roughly the same? Also i was quoted $305 for the RA1's in a 225/50/16. Sounds pricey but if it's going to do the job why not. This was from a Tyrepower store. Any other suggestions on where to get the RA1's as a few places said they could not get them due to the fact that they are a comp tyre more than for road use.
  10. Hi there. I have the same problem on the front with the bendix But only under light braking when it is raining. I recently had the back done and asked why this happened. The guy said at some point in time for about 8 months bendix pads that were made in this period had this fault (nothing to do with the performance of the pad). He said they now have fixed the problem. Not sure if this true tho. Im still running them and they work well. Hope this helps.
  11. Thanks for the replies guys.
  12. Hey people. I have posted this question in another thread but need more input please. I have read through the thread on tyres how would you rate them and there are so may different opinions. I am currently running Hankook Ventus 225/50/16 and i must say they are rubbish (also i know they are cheap). With 192RWKW is it possible to get a street legal tyre that will grip with no or very little wheel spin. I am sick of ringing tyre places just to have every single one saying different things. Im happy to spend the $$$. I just want to make the right choice the first time without wasting money on crap. Also thanks to benm for his input in another thread.
  13. Ok. So which street usable tyre should i go for. Maybe Yokohama advan? This is the question i asked the tyre dealer. Can i get grip. I want straight line grip. Oh yeah try these new design Hankook Ventus. Yeah! no worries. Sick of ringing around tyre places just to have them try and sell you what they stock. And everyone says buy something different. I just want grip and buy the right tyres the first time!
  14. Are these tyres you suggest only for track or are they for street use also. If not, sorry i was meaning legal for street use.
  15. Thanks for that benm. Dam i thought i could have a cheap way of getting traction. Im just so frustrated not being able to launch without wheelspin. Currently using Hankook Ventus V8 RS 225/50/16 with 192RWKW. First gear is now useless. Is it possible to get a tyre this size not to wheel spin at all with this power? If so what sort? Happy to spend $$ as i know the Hankook's are on the cheaper side.
  16. Thanks for that. Does anyone know if these look the same or not. Also anyone running these on an R33 with wide arse rubber, do you need spacers or not.
  17. Hey benm. Are the 300ZX rims slightly different in appreance to the standard R33 rims or the same. Also what are the sizes of both? Im only able to squeeze 225/50/16 on mine which i believe is the max for the standard rims. What is the max size you can run on the 300ZX rims. What price are you after for the two you have.
  18. Hey there. I've seen one on Ebay for $260 second hand if your interested.
  19. Alot of difference. SAFC only does air fuel adjustment. You need to also control timing. I had an SAFC for a while and just recently changed to a power fc. I will say *DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME* with an SAFC. Yes cheaper but no where near as good. Also these prices that gR33DDY is doing them for are unbeatable. Keep up the good work.
  20. Solution= POWER FC....................
  21. Thanks guys.........
  22. Oh one thing i forgot to metion. Would BOSCH be so kind as to "HURRY UP" and please make these air flow meters so the group buy can go ahead.
  23. Hi people. I have read through Paul R33's FAQ on the power fc. It mentions that you may need a retune when changing to a Z32 airflow meter. Im asking, do i definately need a retune or is it not needed. If i do am i able to drive the car safely the tuner or not. Also what is the specific setting on the hand controller (once gone into settings then airflow) i should select. Finally does anyone know what the max reading of the Z32 is as the standard one doesnt like the cold days maxing out at 5115 milli volts. Thanks
