  3. Pic's please. [email protected]
  4. Hi Cav. I had the same problem and was told the compressor failure was most likely the TX valve which is a small plastic thingy. Did the run around of trying to source a second hand one but ended up replacing the whole system, compressor, TX valve, Dryer unit and regas costing $1000. I know it's alot but worth it to me. At least i have peace of mind that the whole system is all good now. I had the chance to buy a second hand compressor that came out of a car with 40000 ks on it but the guy at the aircon place said he was happy to fit it but has seen compressors cark it on cars with 10000 ks on them. So i think in the long run it was worth going fully reconditioned.
  5. Thinners if you want to have nothing left, or you can try turps which is a solvent base.
  6. Robo as Dan said the walbro's are very quite. I hardly notice it, only a slight hum when the stereo is off.
  7. Hi Geoff. Just found the post after i PM'ed you about which day it was. So please disreguard it. Will be there as it will be good to catch up again...............
  8. bump...
  9. Hi Razorsharp. Not looking so much for power figures but more efficiency as i feel sorry for the turbo running 12psi all the time in this hot weather. And the standard cooler is so pissy in its size. I rang a couple of places and was priced $220 for a Trust side mount. Is this a good price? If this sounds too good a price could it be a made in China(cheap cheap) version?
  10. Hi guys and girls. Would please like some suggestions on which side mount cooler to get, how much i should expect to pay and where are the best places to purchase from. Yes i have considered to go the front mount option but just want something for a slight upgrade that fits straight on. Thanks........
  11. Anyone.......................................................................?
  12. Still have mine if your interested?.......................... $50 plus postage.
  13. bump...........
  14. As the title says. If you have one laying around and want to get rid of it, let me know. Cheers...............
  15. Obviously not. Ok then any suggestions where i could obtain one from as i have tried many wreckers with no success.......................
  16. Does anyone have a R34 cooler they want to sell cheap.....................
  17. James PM me and make an offer.......
  18. James i have one without airbag if your'e still interested.
  19. Had the exact problem on my R33. Tried the clamp tools (two different sizes) and just kept slipping. So ended up buying one of those tools Rumble spoke about which was actually $20 from Autobarn and it's the best tool ever.
  20. I'd say run no more than 12psi, but get at least an SAFC otherwise it will probably run quite rich once you up the boost, thus the famous R33 flat spot.
  21. Yeah Clint i still have the original coil packs.
  22. Very nice pics dude.......
  23. ............................................SAFC................................ ...BTW, had the exact problem you have and racked my brain thinking it's the plugs gap, coils, air flow meter etc. But no it was the standard ECU running rich as when boosted. So an SAFC sounds good. No hesitation just all power right through. Oh and a decent 29 rwkw gain.
  24. I think its worth it considering an SAFC gave me 29 more kw.
  25. I would presume it will require some sort of oiling to collect dirt deposits.
