i know ... i did test the NGK R 1st ... then i'v checked the NGK IR .. i will change them also .. while changing the coils .. .. i dont know ... exactly ... but 100% not too tight ... i can open them and close them easly .. but i know they r not lose .. any info about the coils in the pic .... .. ?!

i have the same problem .. i posted 2threads ... (IS IT THE COILS) AND (SICK..!) SEARCH for those threads .. and read .. u may have some ideas ..

i forget to post this pic ... this a pic of the plugs ... ngk ir ngk r which i'v replaced and found some brown yellow thing on it .. see pic . not all the plugs like that ... thats why i'v said it may be the coils .. any body know what dose this brown color mean ???

they told me that ... . anyway .... i did it carfully ... . it didnt cracked ... when i 1st bought the car .. it has a NGK plugs .. not sure what type.. but not platenum nor iredum ..

...thanx for replying mate .... i already did that .. gap = 0.8 NGKplug IR laser iredum heat range 6 i'v also tryed NGK R iredum heat range 5 also did compretion ratio at home ..... its ok... lil diffrent in some of them .. (not a big deal tho) some pic

i'v posted thread befor about the coils missfiring @ idle i use to have it mostly when the car is cold .. i'v changed the places of the coils ... mmm feel some diffrent .. ( dont know why ) now it miss fire lil bet ... but .. mostly .. it like losing power btween 4500 tell 5800 exactly .. only between those rev its not accelerating like it should ... after 5800 rev . it go's ok ... tell it reach 7000 ... every time it did the same .. in all gears .. (didnt try 5th gear) and by the way .. it happen some times .. some times it not ... i mean after driving for some time .. this gos off any way 100% misfiring at idle .. but not sure if it misfire at 4500 .... (i think its somthing else) so .. the Q is .. ? why its only loosing power at 4500 to 5800 every time ???? is there anything special happen between those rev's ?? i really feel sick already :throwup: plzzz help if they r the coils that would be easy to fix .. mod: hks filter only

oh thats right ... but most of them .. try to put a dark leather .. so no big diffrent .. mine has maxima dash . with black leather on it .. i'll be posting pic soon .. but i still like the stock dash .. its cool ..

.. nice car ... by the way ... we have some work shops .. who can do that ... i mean .. many not some .. they do cut the dash and re fix it ... again ... ( cheaper then the maxima dash ) ... which most of the guys here do ... but they really did a nice job there

UAQ .. was registering ... ( shaikh saif bin zayed personaly forced them to stop ) .. and one more thing ... 3 days ago .. they told me that no more skyline RHD nor LHD will ever registered in UAE ... ( not sure yet ) .. that would be really bad ... but some how good ... coz most new drivers (kids) buy skylines (cheap ..mostly r32) .. and make alot of troubles .. i'll make sure about that ...and i'll let u know ..

hey man ... yester day .. i did .. a compretion ratio test for my engin ... ( that was .. ok .. ) .. after i did fix every thing .. i did a diagnostic .. i had code 21 ... i think it was the coils ..( coz i start the engin with out the coils ..while testing) .. any way .. it keeps showing code 21 ... i did somthin but am not sure about .. which made it stop showing 21 ... and it came back to 55 .. i have one Q ... i think my coils are some how bad (missfiring).. mmm .. but still working ... so .. when will the ecu show code 21 ... ??? only if the coil is died ???? good luck with u'r ECU ...
