  3. I think I saw that in the paper, that was an amazing story. His mates on the Familia forums all chipped in to rebuild his car!. Stuff like that is very inspirational to hear.
  4. That is fantastic news!. Let's hope Jasmin is ok also so atleast there can be some more happiness in what is a tragic story.
  5. Good call Skipppy. The last thing you want to do is cause more grief to his family.
  6. The media will always hone in on a fact that will help them sell the story more, even when I read "4 skylines travelling north" I think "they were racing each other!" That is the media for you. But hey at the end of the day we all know the truth so bugger the rest of them I say!. And anyway, no one will remember in a weeks time about 4 skylines going up a hill, so don't be concerned to much. p.s. I have travelled the said road 100's of times over the years, and on more than one occasion I have seen cars in that lane heading towards Strath ..they just fly straight by, like they own that lane.. I kid you not. It usually happens the most on the real steep part after the train lines.
  7. Andrew and everyone one who saw the accident, make sure you voice any feelings you have to people you trust, don't let it build up inside. What you saw will probably not have hit home yet. Remember we are all here if you need to chat about it.
  8. Wow this is fantastic to hear!, I hope Drew has a speedy and full recovery. Condulances also must go out to the driver of the festiva and lets hope the passenger makes a full recovery also. Sorry I forgot to say that in my previous post I was sort of in shock at the time. Considering the speed of the impact it is a testement to the Nissan engineering that is for sure.
  9. OMG this is horrible. Such a silly mistake by the festiva it seems and someone has paid with their life and others are very injured. I hope everyone involved makes a speedy recover. What road was it on?
  10. Brace is now sold.

  13. Hi Guys, I have an R32 Cusco Rear Strut Brace for sale. Asking $115 + $20 postage. If the buyer is in Adelaide I can personally deliver it to your door to save you on postage. The Item is also listed elsewhere (eBay), however the forum rules don't allow me to link it (though easy to find if you search). If it sells there first I will have to remove the sale here. Here are a few pics, PM me if you are interested (working hours), I am also on MSN at driftspec@hotmail.com if you prefer (non working hrs).

  20. Great cruise guys, had a great time! Did anyone get some happy snaps of my car in motion...still have not seen any before . That blue 34 was awesome too, very very impressive.
  21. Hey all, I know it's not a for sale section here, but this is to help out whoever is keen, not make a profit in anyway. I have the rights to the plate GTT 034, if anyone is after this plate here in SA let me know, I will sell it for the price it cost me. It was $170 to register it. (printed on the form) I originally got the plate as I was going to buy an R34, but it is likely now I won't and will likely stick with the Supra. The plates have never been issued, so the rights can be allocated to another person.
  22. LOL this is getting rather large. I don't know if the police will take a liking to this at all if they see it
  23. And they wonder why people buy imported cars :S My old man's VX S Commodore has only done about 60k and is always garaged... yet all the rubbers on the rear window have already shrunk and gone out of shape My Supra turns 20 years old this year.... all the rubbers are the original ones, and are still in awesome condition.
  24. Just FYI you do realise that wheel spacers are highly illegal for use on the road?, and if you are in an accident and the insurance company finds out they are fitted to the car that they wont cover you?. Just a thought...
