  4. Turned out Nissan gave me the wrong size roll pin. *insert cursing here*. Anyways new pin sorted, box is all nice and clean and ready to go back in this week. I have never driven the car with ATTESSA functioning, shall be interesting
  5. That roll pin is a bitch to get back in to the striker rod. Any tips?
  6. B0BB0's 10 second GT-R..
  7. I have decided to sell my car to buy myself something a bit more practical (I'm getting old *sigh*). I have babied this car since day one, and can attest that the previous owner has done the same. The car has been stripped out (ie: no carpet, rear seats, rear trim) for weight reduction purposes. This is not your 'go to the shops for milk' kind of car, it has been purpose built for serious driving! The car makes around 350rwhp @ 1bar (pulls hard!), the motor is super responsive and has never skipped a beat. I have only ever used top shelf fluids for it (eg Motul 300v) and have serviced it every 3000-4000km's. The car is mechanically A1. The car handles absolutely awesome and stops on a dime. The paint is the ORIGINAL factory black which reflects the level of care this car has received throughout its life. The chassis has 103,000km's on it. Interior as pictured below is immaculate for its age (No dash bubbles!). The car has a couple minor scratches here and there, I will enthusiastically point out EVERY single thing wrong with this car to the potential buyer (and there is not much wrong with it!). Myself and the previous owner have only used high quality brand name components, you will not find any China on my car. The car is currently unregistered, although it has been fully complied (this car came in under the 15yr rule btw) and fitted with new Brigestone Potenza G3 tyres. To pass the pits it would require a bonnet swap to stock, bonnet pins removed, stock exhaust fitted and a cat fitted (both of which I have already). Whether it be drift, drag or track work this is a car that can do well in all fields. I am asking $18,500 UNREGISTERED or $19,500 REGISTERED (I will be running the car over the pits on the 29th). Tire kickers and test pilots need not apply! If your after a ****ter, look elsewhere I am happy to answer any queries you may have. 8. The z-tune is no doubt the most awesome GT-R you could buy with a factory warranty.
  9. Well the box is out - damn heavy thing it is! I removed the gearbox xmember and lowered the box down with a jack, this gave me enough space to rear the top bellhousing bolts with my 1/4 drive extension bars. The allen key bolts on the tail shaft were very tight, extension bar over the top sorts it out. Interestingly no fluid seeped out of the hydrualics upon removing it from the transfer case.. any ideas why? Hopefully the pump is not stuffed. Twisted and bought the box down slowly, was stupidly heavy! I had a mate helping me, I'd recommend having a 3rd person no doubt. Now to change the transfer case and whack her back in there.. *ughh*
  10. Perhaps the aussies don't break studs on #6 as much as you guys
  11. Whilst were here, any other further tips on removing the gearbox? Eg, angles...
  12. Sweet, any specific nuts/bolts need to be used? Heat issues? Threadlock?
  13. Hi guys, I snapped two of my dump pipe studs (leading to the front pipe) whilst removing the front pipe. Once the existing stud is ezy'd out, can a simple high tensile nut and bolt be used with success? Or do I need to thread a new stud or something alike?
  14. What's the best way to access and remove the starter motor bolts and top bell housing bolts on the gearbox? Bloody tight in there.

  16. Anyone?
  17. As a resolution it ended up being the plugs. 0.8 gap - everythings sweet
  18. Hey dude, just wondering if you know the part number for the selector shaft seal?

Lucky if i crack 300km's to a full tank
  20. I painted mine black a while back. I used VHT matt black with excellent results (VHT can be bought from Repco).
  21. Hi guys, Are there are any internal differences between the R32 GTS-4 and GT-R transfer cases?
