Hi guys, Due to my supplier's unexpected price changes and extensive delays (3-4 months!) in delivering my RB25DET half cut, I have decided sadly not to go ahead with the conversion as it's causing me to many headaches. I have chosen to stay simple and put another RB20DET into the 32 and spend the remainder of my budget on a few goodies for it. My search has begun for an R32 GTS-t RB20DET half cut. I am looking for a half cut that has less than 100,000km's with the interior dash and console intact in good condition. I don't mind if it doesn't come with brakes or panels. I am willing to pay good money for a good engine. I am ready to purchase a half cut with cash in hand as of the 9th of December. Also, a few months back my car drivers door was keyed to the metal, does this mean i have to have the entire side of the car resprayed due to the colour being black? Thanks

Hi guys I was wondering what exactly needs to be done to fit an R33 gearbox to the R32. I hear the tailshaft needs to be shortened, the yoke needs to be changed and a gearbox mount modification is needed. Could someone please give me some specific details on this, and anything else i will need to consider? Exact tailshaft modification measurements, recommendations who i should see and photo's would be GREATLY appreciated!!

The new layout is tiring to read. Not everyone posts pictures, you have to change pages to often, and you don't get to see as much. The old style was perfect. It will be quite sad if this new system stays.

GTR-Ben and BHDave, Thanks for the great advice guys! Really helps clear things up for me when you guys take the time to type out the above. We should get some sort of 'Virtual Beer' credit setup on SAU so i could shout these lads a beer for their efforts! Just a couple more questions 1. What is the SMJ? 2. What type of adaptor did you use for the heater hoses? 3. What is an EGR valve?

Probably a nice low mount GT2540. Good response, minimal lag, and nice and stealthy low mounted.

So what other problems could i possibly expect to face using the RB25DET wiring loom?

Please don't let this turn into a shit fight of what plenum is better. I am purely buying this plenum for simplicity in intercooler piping and to make it easier to get to my spark plugs/coil packs etc. This thread is for discussion of what is needed to be done to install the Greddy plenum. Currently on my 4th license suspension. - Driving with no license. - 141km/hr + x 3 = 6 points each time. - Various random speeds 10/20/30kms over. Copped nearly 5k of fines in 3 years. Some were unlucky, most I deserved.
