  1. Double post :\.
  2. Not true! Haha. Here's my stats. P Plates acquired in 2010 September. Cars owned along with 'checks'; Toyota Supra 7MGTE - 0 Checks. Mitsubishi Lancer GSR 93' 1.8L Turbo - 0 Checks. Toyota Mark 2 Jzx100 - 0 Checks. Nissan Silvia S15 Sr20DET - 2 Pull overs, Busted for driving a turbo on P's and no P Plates the second time. Currently on 1 point challenge to date. R32 Skyline Gts-t - 0 Checks so far . S15 wasn't coincidence. It's focused hard by police .
  3. Makes sense, a lot of the Melbourne Skids group have their gathering points at Krispy Kreme - Fountain Gate. :\.
  4. Takes too much effort to go around saying CJ MOTOR are dodgy. I'm sure they sold it with the intentions of it working 100%. They aren't going to change their mind so no point going through different places saying they're bad traders etc. I've purchased other things through them which have been 100% great, but just these splitfires have given me a bad taste. Much rather with Nissan ones and if someone is going to be purchasing/having to replace them, i'd much rather point out they are cheaper and do the same exact job splitfire/super sparks would.
  5. Yeah called CJMOTOR and they told me it was my engine and if they replace it, same thing will happen. I tried reasoning with them, but no go. Purchased Nissan OEM ones for $380. Worked 100%. Even tried the splitfire's in my friend's 32 and same thing happened.
  6. Well, yes it does. Splitfire has a aura of "YE BRO THEYRE THE BEST! BELIEVE IT!" when in reality, they failed hard for me. Splitfires may be good for your honda running 160fwkw but for me it could barely handle 260rwkw before breaking down.
  7. He asked for proof. I've got proof of 3 week old splitfire coilpacks failing hard.
  8. Settle down hardparkers, he would look like a muppet if he's got drift stickers and a huge T wing and the car had 100% tread. Personally i hate getting canned in the "DRIFTSCENE" because today's driftscene is filled full of people who put stickers on their cars, chinese bodykits, fartcannons and sit at meets with 100% tread saying IF i was to do a burnout i'd light up the street. Anyone who drives a skyline like a commodore should sell their car and buy a commodore.
  9. Feel free to come to Berwick (Victoria) and put in the splitfire Coilpacks i purchased from CJ Motor. I'll show you my ebay history for when i purchased them and how much.
  10. If it's misfiring then it's a ignition/fuel problem. Plugs, Coilpacks, Fuel Filter or Ignitor pack. I'm not sure if the RB25DETs actually have them. Sorry i thought this was in regards to an rb20.
  11. You can't test them. Here are your options; Replace spark plugs at gap them to .7 or .6 whatever. Ask someone to borrow their coilpacks to see if your coilpacks are playing up. Do not buy Splitfire or Super Spark, they're cactus just buy new Nissan OEM spark plugs they're just as good. Check your ignitor pack thing (This was my misfiring problem). I did EVERYTHING only to find out it was the ignitor pack. Replace fuel filter, if it's old and clogged up then that will be the problem. Anything else could be cylinder issues, but you'll probably see it on your spark plugs. Try turning down the boost as well and that may tell you/give you abit more info as to what could be the problem. If you don't have a boost gauge, then put one on to see if you're spiking.
  12. I'm having the same issues at the moment, although mine doesn't seem as bad. My misfires around 3 - 5k rpm, still goes hard, but yeah is still misfiring. I've tried cleaning AFM with carby cleaner, changed spark plugs, changed fuel filter and my coilpacks are only 500kms old and they are splitfires. Going to try and put in new coilpacks and see how i go, :x. But yeah good luck with yours, if i find a solution and it's not one you've tried yet i'll let you know.
  13. The car was running perfectly for a while until a simple drift day and started misfiring. From what i've been told there's no black smoke coming out of exhaust when it misfires.
  14. Hi all, Recently i purchased a stock 32 gts-t and did a lot of modifications to it, currently i'm running a TD06 20G, upgraded my fuel pump, 1000cc injectors, running e85, i have done the service as well replacing the spark plugs AND splitfire coilpacks (This was all done about 500kms ago). The car was running perfectly 100% but then started to misfire/backfire when climbing in the revs around 4 - 5k rpm AFTER i had been to a wet track day (drifting). I am unsure as to what it could be, but something i've noticed is it holds strong when around 6 - 7k RPM and on gate and doesn't breakdown/misfire, but only underload building up it will start. The only thing i can think of at the moment is the Fuel filter which i have not changed and potentially could be the one from OEM, so perhaps the E85 going through the fuel pump could've also messed it up etc. If anyone has some ideas/things to try it would greatly be appreciated. - Justin. P.S: For those intrigued i'm running 264rwkw @ 6k rpm :\.
  15. Location: Victoria South east Suburbs. Name: Justin Phone: 0408770437. Interstate posting: No. Hi all, just have some items to sell. Did a TD06 20G Turbo upgrade and replaced all these items. The items are all working 100% perfect, no shaft play on turbo. Just selling them to make some money back. - Rb20DET OEM Nissan Turbo - $100. - Intercooler S/M with Piping - $50. - Steel Intake Pipe with AFM & Pod Filter - $75 - Stock Manifold - $30. Got some other bits and pieces around. Also if anyone is interested i've got a 7MGE Engine that was taken out of my Cressida for 1JZGTE swap, Headgasket has been replaced and have video of working order. Only chasing $150 for that. Cheers!
