  1. I thought you bought cams etc? I'll be aiming for around 250-300 on a std box with some new solenoids. Wish me luck haha
  2. The 25 aren't like the old Nissan fuel rails. The standard 25 reg and rail can do 300+kw fine. Afc is a good base to realize you need a proper ecu. They will knock off sbout 2 seconds 0-100. But that's about it. It's all the power at low tp that you want in a street car.
  3. Guys... Did you read the link? The justcar brand is being discontinued. You can still renew up until the 13th...
  4. https://www.nistune.com/index.php/faq/faq-general These guys can answer that more clearly. Once you're done with the general faq, move onto the technical.
  5. nope. plug and play as in, plug it in.
  6. put that 1k aside. Put in another 2k and get yourself a hypergear turbo, bosch id injectors, and a nistune or something else plug and play.
  7. I sent you a msg a month ago with some logging on issues @PranK Initially i thought i was being hacked. Could it be a discrepancy between the phone app and computer? effectively being logged on at 2-3 different devices.
  8. How is the trans going @hardsteppa ? How much power are you on now?
  9. search within this very sub forum. There are 3 threads on the first page..
  10. *Insert dirty little plug here* If anyone is interested i have some genuine BBS RS 17x9 +20 for sale. These were made specifically for the 32R

  12. Good. I should really make my own
  13. Could you send me some photos of the frame please?
  14. Have you tried other ambient temp sensors from other models? Post a pic and I'll check mine.
  15. These are 17x7 +40 if you want them for $100
  16. I guess i could... I still have my grinder out, where do you want me to cut?
  17. I know this is off topic, but! I just asked this question in a tuners group, as it has always bugged and confused me too. I have seen tuners one car will be rpm and the other speed. Here is a great explanation. " Mph is usually only used when a good rpm signal can't be acquired. Using a fixed ratio based off of mph is not the best way either to get rpm, due to tire deflection, vehicle movement forward during a pull and potential small amounts of tire slip. And setting the ratio requires that an absolutely perfect mph and rpm be inputted or you get wrong tq numbers as the rpm gets away from your set point. "
  18. I understand what you're saying, I see it being very dependent on the whole setup. Honestly i shouldn't have commented as i don't have enough first hand knowledge on the subject. Theory goes; smaller rear housing = quicker spool being that it is the road less traveled. The smaller vs larger rear housing is very well documented. A lot of people used to complain about lag with a fmic being so large, and piping so long, and debate the use of 2.5" vs 3" . Most people i have spoken to who are honest (not trying to justify money spent) will say that there wasn't a difference in response.
  19. You don't want back pressure in a turbo charged car. The quicker air gets to the turbine, the quicker it starts moving.
  20. Theres a walk through on how to fix the cogs on here somewhere.
  21. Adding photos of the car. And more information. i.e. k's, who built the engine, who tuned it, what ecu it has, is it flex or straight e85, etc. glws = good luck with sale.
  22. Now for some intake temp results. Being that the 'normal' fmic pipe runs over the manifold and radiator.... Just to throw a spanner in the works
  23. Skylines are slower than most new n/a cars. If you look at cars in the same price bracket of 4k-8k you'll see that a skyline isn't a good choice. With fuel prices rising, new cars getting cheaper, more reliable, faster, more creature comforts etc. It's a no brainer that skylines are being stripped and sold for more than you can sell them as a whole. Yes it can be frustrating seeing a perfect car being stripped because no one want's to buy it. Every make and model goes through the same fate, until they reach a time that everyone want's one again. It's a classic example of supply and demand. No one needs or want's a complete 33, but a lot need a spare engine for their conversion, or a gearbox for another conversion, or the brakes.... and so on.
