  1. That really depends on the thickness of the hub itself. I've seen quite a few wheels with the same width and offset but instead of concave spokes or a bigger dish, they have just had a bigger hub.. I can't tell you why they do this as it makes it a pain to get a full set or 2 full sets of identical wheels. The reason why i said this, is the te37 could be one of the brands?
  2. Hey Bob what were your track wheels? i remember them being 3 piece and multispoke. Can you post a picture? I really liked them.
  3. way cheaper. Last time i looked they were around $300 for standard which is 16mm? The brass barbs are for the lines. I'm using a 42mm rad with no auto fittings and a davies craig 678.
  4. front bumper side pipe.
  5. Grants idea of having the WTB section under or above the FS section is great. It would stop 90% of the wtb in the fs section. If it doesn't, get a new moderator who will move the wtb posts. There are members who are already in there on a daily basis searching for bargains, like Birds and Ghost. I am on most days and could help out also.
  6. that place would look great with a nice gearbox on the step.
  7. Don't buy that silicone pos. It doesn't fit and is very flimsy. It's softer than the oem intake. It will suck shut.
  8. There's a bloke in the act who refuses to tune haltech because of the problems he has had with warranty and ecus not working. Not the first person I've spoken to who has had this problem either.
  9. haha relax. It was a joke. Your argument just isn't very good. You're saying you can buy old tech for $700, that's great, but you still need to buy a loom, map sensor or afm and anything else that needs adding on to get it to work, just like the emanage and other old tech. Buy something like an adaptronic which is new and that will work out of the box and has all the features inbuilt. After sales support is incredible and are Australian, and if you want the next model up you can upgrade by contacting them.
  10. So 90% have had problems? I rest my case.
  11. fyp. Have you never spoken to anyone who has bought a stuffed second hand ecu? This isn't a missile car, this is a 400+kw R. Choose parts wisely and don't cut corners.
  12. dont go second hand. The ecu and tune is the most important part of the build.
  13. Welcome Jason! Post up some photos of your stagea and cedric.
  14. do we get a turbo discount if we have bought an e420d off you?
  15. Welcome nikki. Good choice with the c34 dayz, it looks great! Type in google 'stagea c34 front' and youll see plenty of c35 laurel and 32 33 and 34 gtr fronts
  16. Mine squeal horrendously when coming to a slow stop with remsa / roadhouse pads, They get worse the hotter they get. Using t3 rotors, braided lines etc. I've tried bedding in - this makes it worse, crc copper grease, brand new shims with oem grease, roughing up the pad, cleaning the disc, sanding the disc with 1k paper I'm at that point where i am going to buy bendix pads. Trouble is that i will be left with remsa that are barely used and were bought because they're a crossover pad.
  17. What's the battery like? Check alt wiring. Check grounds. Have you done any wiring lately?
  18. I should have worded it better. The act don't need annual inspections. It's just the one when you first register your car in your name in the act. Every year after that you pay online and it's done. No more inspections.Yeah I have heard of people having troubles in nsw. Back in the day we used to just type out something that said that we are driving X car from point A to point B on Y date. Worked fine when pulled over
  19. in the act you don't need any inspections after your initial first inspection and a car can be unregistered for upto 12 months before you pay for rego online.
  20. https://www.accesscanberra.act.gov.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/1820/~/unregistered-vehicle-permits-(uvp) I havent looked into it much as i dont have an unregistered race car that's driven to and from events. Nearly all the cars at the last rally i was at were on UVPs, this ranged from caged cars to standard excels. These were people who lived in the ACT and the race was in NSW. So it is possible Drew. The race UVP would be considered under the 'unreasonable and unpractical to have full rego'
  21. How does fuel injector cleaner end up in your oil?
  22. You can get a day permit for race events though. The rally events which I have been to have had multiple unregistered cars on uvp's
