  1. i have mca blues in my c34 for roughy 8 months. they are fantastic. Josh and his team know their stuff and go into explaining everything about it and the reasons why, they are aus made and wtac podium winners etc etc. would not go BC's because A) Every car i have been in with them are shithouse and have leaked and lost compression rebound within 2 yrs B) do not have enough adjustment to handle stiffer springs and do not go high or low enough C) have to deal with people like mechanicalstig who want to rip people off. what are you doing with the car to warrant the XC's?
  2. Wut. Shielding heat from intake is good. I agree and plenty of graphs will back up that the stock airbox is fine. But! A few tuners have had gains with a pod in a proper box. The only reason to use a pod is if you want more power and have to change to a hard intake pipe and you want to do it cheaply. And you can diy.
  3. Add boost for every point of compression you are down?
  4. Cold air which I've done. That pod kit is expensive and no doubt you'll want a hard intake pipe once you start adding power so it becomes redundant to buy it. Those 'heat shield' are useless. Make your own. There's plenty of how to on this forum. Just type in things like cold air box SAU into google and check images etc
  5. If it's low on compression just drive it like a normal car and try and make it last
  6. new door banner anyone?
  7. Yeah, did a bit of research on this a little while ago Hmm I paid $10 more than you for my front pads
  8. Can't find any specs on those pads. What made you pick those? In saying that I was told this morning a friend just did a track day and used hawk pads and they were fine. Check out the brake pad thread http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/169972-brake-pads-users-ratings-guide Two points about those pads that are full of holes; I'm so punny. This material offers ease on your rotors Hawk HPS Brake Pads have a 20-40% longer lifetime
  9. post both links to the sale posts. i would steer clear of that one, plenty of 260's in the sea.
  10. post up the graphs before and after. keen to see the change, and what ecu did you use?
  11. i know of this all too well. worked at a dealership that used to just print out standard wheel alignment sheets for that model of car when they were too busy.
  12. just the fronts; c34's are 280 twin piston. 32gtst are 280 quad piston. 33gtst are 296 quad piston. 34gtt are 310 quad piston. 32gtr non vspec are 296 quad piston. 32/33gtr are 324 quad piston. its kind of odd they didn't come with better brakes, but they aren't a performance car so they didn't need anything special.
  13. whoa. mate...
  14. that colour is nice. what is it?
  15. any roof scoops in these new art cars?
  16. not sure. we could try it on your bonnet first?
  17. i can cut your bar if you like? just put a new disc on the grinder so it will be clean. people will say "thats f**king mint" when they look at your new bumper mod.
  18. what 35?
  19. You'll find it will open under vac and light boost. Don't do it.
  20. doubt those speakers would give you very much bass. You can get all types and sizes of sub woofers these days, 6" 6.6" 6x9 etc. You may find a better use of the money would be to buy some good quality front speakers which have separate tweeters and are known for decent quality and bass.
