  1. While you're at it. Look at videos on how to fix rust and live happily ever after.
  2. Honestly, for the price of over $2500 and what ever shipping + tax will be. You can get something that is made in Australia with Australian tech help for cheaper. Point out the main benefits where other ecu's fail? Why is maxxecu 'a lot better' to use? Is it worth the extra money? Why?
  3. My understanding is that bluetooth is slow. Slow to react on all information and logs. There is a lot of talk about bluetooth as a means for external tuning on many forums and even on the nistune boards. but most said that it is just too slow to use. Adaptive tuner is also slow while using bluetooth so most try and use a host capable tablet or phone. I have not used bluetooth for tuning or anything other than phone and data use, so i dont have any first world experience.
  4. It's on their forum, but has been down for quite some time. Check out adaptive tuner
  5. Saw it about 2 months ago and instantly recognized it. Such a shame what's happened. But rest assured that He had a big heart for the car also and things will be fixed correctly! What was the cause of the leak? Cracked block?
  6. just get standard coils from kudos motorsport. they are the same price as splitfires.
  7. whoa. lets not get too serious here.
  8. let him know it looks amazing.
  9. i wouldn't go with pe7. it could be my bad luck, but i went through 3 within 2 years.
  10. This. Should never open the bonnet if there is a fire. Understandable that you can't really get the extinguisher in there without opening. So it's a catch 22. My local track still has the rule of a secondary bonnet restraint. Like a piece of wire or anything suitable. The rule really needs to be enforced on fiberglass bonnets as we all know somebody's who's has opened at the worst of times.
  11. That's sad. Hope he got it sorted. Wonder if it's the same bloke I see every morning on the way to work. He only just popped up in a white fd a few months ago around the north side.
  12. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/458931-how-many-km-should-an-import-gain-during-the-import-process/
  13. oh. i thought you had a thread about one that had significantly more k's than what was on the report before shipping.
  14. what happened to the one you imported?
  15. Was about to say. Looks like someone hit it with a scourer. You could remove a lot of those marks if you put in the effort with a cut and polish. But it has scratched a lot of the clear and will be making life hard for the next owner. So it really depends on where your morals lie.
  16. Wow. Great price. Good luck in your adventures.
  17. Like. Inside the engine? Get a magnet with a telescopic bending end
  18. My boot hasn't been unlocking lately so I took a look and found the tail light wiring like this Cut this shit out. And made it look like this. Now I has tailgate lights and stop lights.
  19. nah. but. what about 'insert something irrelevant'
  20. guys, dont be so rude.
  21. Talk to gtr Luke on how to drop the engine lower.
  22. Well what did you do? You don't run a standard dump pipe.
  23. easy fix is to spray the afm with glow in the dark paint. it absorbs volts to help lower them from 5.
  24. Whoa. Mate, don't make fun of gnart.
