  1. i find it odd they asked if you wanted it. they should do it for their own piece of mind.
  2. i thout it was bcus the s shazzis was for the street and r shazzis is for racing. not evry1 has money for a race only car!!!!!!1 sho u can drive it on the street, but how long till u get picked up??!?!111!!
  3. buy the materiel yourself and stitch one up. Shouldn't take longer than an hour.
  4. Hey Dave. Open up the top with a knife first and check the soldier on the pins. Will be a lot cheaper than buying a new one. New ones are roughly $100 from memory. Or try your local tuner for a known working one.
  5. id advise looking through peoples build threads and the turbo and power thread http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55845-rb25-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/page-1you'll soon see what's reliable and what turbo makes what power with other modifications. May seem like a bit of work, but that's half the fun and it will broaden your ideas and open new possibilities. Changing plugs isn't that much of an inconvenience with the standard plenum and J pipe. Should only take a few minutes, like 5-10 tops. FFP do look nice if they are rippled like standard, i have never used one or seen a back to back test vs standard so i can't comment on their 'power'. Take a good look at the engine bay and you'll soon realise that the wiring loom, vac hoses, and power steering reservoir etc are the things that 'clutter' the engine bay. Personally, i'd start with a wire tuck and moving reservoirs if you're into cleaning it up a bit. It will be cheaper and keep you 'tinkering' for longer. Ever seen a 25 wire tucked and cleaned? looks a shitload better than a cluttered bay with a ftp.
  6. Yes fg are nearly as tall as the radiator. Ba/bf still get decent gains with a bigger cooler when over 250kw depending on the setup.
  7. Nooo. There is a red one down the road from mine that hasn't moved in 6 months. Take their one.
  8. sand them with 2000 wet until they're clear, then use a polish on them.
  9. My Stageas exhaust got deeper and lost power at wot when the afm was playing up. Not sure what sensors a bora has, but could be a possibility if some dirty water made its way into your afm. If it's a map, I have heard of similar experiences when there is an intake manifold leak.
  10. Did you polish them afterwards? I have glass headlights now, but in the past I had sanded and polished plastic headlights and they last for years.
  11. Saw this at yarralumla on Wednesday.
  12. The calliper will have more leverage on a larger rotor.
  13. My photos musnt have worked? The silicone ones are terrible. Nothing fits, not even with cutting.
  14. The black u bend and silicone hose is just the standard bov return that has been cut and placed in between the power steering line and hot pipe, it is angled directly at the turbo inlet.
  15. Call Scott's customs. Or get a right angle 3" Ubend metal pipe and weld on some nipples for the bov and breather. 2.5"-3" silicone joiner and it should work fine. I'll take se pics of mine now.
  16. Have spoken to a few people who have used them, they all said the arm had to be bent to fit correctly. I swear these companies do this stuff on putpose so that when it finally brakes you can't claim warranty because you had to modify it to fit.
  17. To the white 370gt dumped with stockies on the back. Next time you cut me off with no indicator I won't brake.
  18. How's the bub going anf?
  19. also on front lower and rear bars on selected models. and i said sills, not pinch.
  20. look at any new cars sills. they all have a protective coating in their body colour. this stuff is extremely hard wearing and durable.
  21. also believe 260rs wheels are the same.
  22. as others have said. connect hose from intercooler pipe to the waste gate, if it hold standard boost then you will need to lower the turbosmart boost t.
