  1. Woke up this morning and it was a nice 15deg and overcast, so in my ultimate wisdom I said to myself "I'll just give a quick once over" 3 hours later I had washed, claybard, polished and waxed the stagea. Popeye and 14yr old boys everywhere would be impressed of my swole arm. With my new job I park in a not so paint friendly area, no shelter and on a dirt and dust infested area with trucks coming and going. If I wash the car it looks dirty by smoko. So I needed a car cover. I spoke to a nice girl from fishy supercheap who was using this car cover and said it was O.K, we will see. I needed some new suspension so I was contacting a few different companies to see what was on offer. After talking to some people who have BC's I was quick to realize that they weren't happy, not just with the performance of them, but also with the height and adjustability. Most people who I had spoken to could only lower the fronts to 360mm when fully adjusted. This wasn't good enough. I spoke to Ben Neil, aka Mechanical Stig who told me to buy the gtr33 inserts seperatley and I could go lower, when I asked for a kit with gtr up front, he argued that an extra $300 for inserts wasn't that hard or expensive. I didn't write back. I was looking at yahoo and found some nice teins for a reasonable price and then a friend contacted me and let me know MCA had released Stagea specific adjustables for all models. After speaking to some more people about MCA gear it was apparent that this is what I need in my life. Only the best reviews and from highly respectable people. Josh from MCA asked what I wanted from the stagea, how it reacted currently and what type of racing I did as well as other modifications. From there he took that information and decided on how to best setup my suspension. I received msg from Josh Coot at MCA suspension letting me know that the suspension is complete and ready to be sent. Cannot wait to get them in and try them out. The cost of new springs is well priced so no doubt I will be eventually getting a new set, a set for daily/spirited and a set for track use.
  2. Josh from mca is a great guy to deal with. I am experiencing understeer and roll even with arb's. Arb's did help a considerable amount but I needed something more. Keep talking to josh and tell him everything that is done to the car, how it handles and exactly what you want to achieve.
  3. Could always buy it back? Not sure on how that process works though
  4. Silver 33 with fluro orange standard wheels
  5. I like the sound of ARC bits. How's the cluster coming along?
  6. I've got a 32 gtr pump. There are a few how to's on what pumps fit and how to put them in with pics
  7. Saturday. That silver gtt with gold BBS's at dickson. Today. White 32 4 door at yarralumla. Black gtt with red stripe around the wheels on northbourn. White c34 with white wheels heading toward yarralumla
  8. Contact my receptionist rathin. My business in australia is looking for a genuine company to deal with. Look forward to doing business with you. Reguards. Sanji.
  9. Seen some pretty gnarly crashes online from spacers snapping. Just typed in wheel spacer fail. A gtr is the fourth pic in haha I would never use them. Do some research and find out the offset and width you want, take into account for tyres.
  10. Shell was lucky to get back inside haha, hope she is ok How were your houses guys? No tile damage or anything else? Goodluck to everyone on their insurance claims and that it goes smoothly.
  11. Black 33 with an sau sticker on north born. Looked and sounded really nice!
  12. looks very cool! no pun intended. Yes I am looking at trying to block a little heat from spreading to other areas of the engine bay, and as you said the intake and J pipe. After all, nissan had shielding over the whole dump as standard. Would you mind posting some photos hugh? Interested to see what you have done.
  13. Harcourt inn know how to pour a good beer
  14. i also found out that the s2 does not fit a s1 the hard way haha. head over to the Facebook pages dan and ask on them. Be careful of the guys who want way too much for them, be patient, there are lots out there.
  15. Had you done much heat shielding wolverine? I'm thinking about adding a layer over the standard heat shields on the turbo and manifold, but also welding in some 10mm threaded pipe on the dump to wrap and bolt it down over the top.
  16. that saab cooler looks like a good bit of kit, you'll definitely notice the time it takes to get into lockup. not much room on the guard wheel and shocks hey haha, after rolling the lip up you may be able to find a sweet spot with the offset bush and camber arms to give it just enough neg camber movement on the downstroke to clear the shock and guard. coming along nicely mate!
  17. coming along really nicely! I like that you're going the extra mile by fixing the panel gaps, it should look 100x better than others!
  18. not wrong about the sound, and surprisingly punchy too!
  19. You're comparing thrashing and getting the exhaust really hot and bedding in, to driving around the street like a normal person. The exhaust will take longer than 1k to bed in.
  20. There's now problems with the website using safari on iphone. I used to be able to use the 'mobile' version with the 'innovation' black theme. Now I can only use the standard white one. And can't seem to stay on 'full website' version either.
  21. Once the packing in the mufflers bed in it will sound different, but not that different. Doubt it will happen in 1000k either. Lol @ their response of never hearing one drone and blame fitment. So their exhausts have fitment issues? Take a video and send it to them.
  22. I'm intrigued. Any pictures?
  23. What was the weather and humidity like when you sprayed it? I vaguely remember something similar to this happening to me when I was in a rush to spray. Except mine turned out cloudy
