  1. Those cheap turbotech etc mbc's are shit. They spike and don't hold boost for longer than a day. You can get turbosmart ones for $30 second hand. I've been there, done that. And the rest of the parts i have seen on ebay
  2. It's like every other non mass'd aus, euro, import, rare etc car made in the late 80's early 90's when parts break down it may cost you more than another car of the same era, maybe not as the 32 share a lot of parts from other models. It's up to you to do your research and find out the exact parts and part numbers and what other company used the same parts etc... It's not some unicorn that is impossible to find parts for, it may take some more time in years to come to find the same parts, but for now it's fine. Genuine vs non-gen is what you should think about also. They are often owned by people just like you who think the exact same way as you, so they would have been driven hard but also cared for and checked regularly. 'Fingers crossed' You need to figure out exactly whats an acceptable level for a daily 32 that you would like to drive. Go from there.
  3. Wow. He is your biggest fan Scott
  4. Haha have a few more 'insert drug here' Colin.
  5. Lol dealed. Wut. He never mentioned a turbo.
  6. Links to threads, forums etc please.
  7. I thought he would have picked something up before now.
  8. When did this happen? He only posted the thread a few days ago.
  9. I've used slinky springs as they were colourful and added to that 'jdm' feel.
  10. I tried to find out the same info a while ago from adaptronic and a local tuner but was never given an answer It still needs to be to be used as a piggy. I know of an auto r33 that has used one as a piggy and made roughly 280kw, I was never able to contact the owner to ask him exactly how well it went and if all the features were available. I do know a manual r34 that used one as a wire in standalone before adaptronic made them, it had some idle issues and would always hunt. Made great responsive power though!
  11. So much this ^ You really need to ask for a few pictures of the item on all sides. I got some gtr gauges off a well established member who said they were in 'great' condition. I received them with black glue type shit all over them, spray paint, and broken tabs, all because i never asked for more than the 1 blurry picture. If someone is evasive and won't meet up to sell the goods, the chances are they're not in the condition they were described. Or possibly stolen and or not even in possession of the seller. I think a few people remember this time last year, a seller on here was selling a clutch and ecu and a few other expensive parts. The parts were not sent and seller was un contactable. The same thing happened to that guy who bought a power fc from ben ellis. If the seller wants a sale, he/she will open a paypal account or meet up or send photos, it is not hard and takes a total of 1 minute. I've had a few guys open an account for me. Maybe we need the trader ratings under our club affiliation with a % of good or bad trades, a lot of forums have these now days.
  12. The person who took Honda to court for the 3.5L burning oil only received $1000 for his 'time and effort' even after Honda 'fudged' their oil consumption 'tests' which was also proven in court. So sick of these people getting a slap on the wrist.
  13. I think it's from a supra?... Sign up to onsills.com and throw them some info and they would 100% be able to point you in the right direction as I'm sure most of them have thought long and hard on how to do it
  14. I pick you up from the club take you home to make some love Got a surprise close your eyes I'm gonna cover you with suds
  15. Did someone get gaol time? My brothers importer did, for the same charges...
  16. This is obviously a mock up and you could not rego this You'd be better off with a notch, 4link and coilovers. the idea of an irs rear is great, but the amount of hurdle jumping you will need to do will be incredible. The guy who built that ^ has got great skills, but even he scrapped it and went full tubular. Not judging you on your skill level, obviously i don't know. But maybe give a few engineers a call and show them your cad etc drawings to see if you should or can continue further.

  21. I must be missing something. He said the dealer wouldn't release the vin or any details. And that sheet is what another dealer thinks the car might be.
