  7. I'm not too sure yet glyn. I was thinking about that last night, It really depends on what people think they're worth, as it really is just a top and side piece that is put together by 3 small L brackets, and it is not fully enclosed (it looks it, and almost is). I will still like the look of this better than any other one Iv'e seen for sale. I'm guessing anywhere from $80? It will take around 2 hours to make, and the cost of picking up the goods and the goods themselves. But I personally don't think too many people will buy one, if someone wants one i will make it. I've just found some rubber edging. and the exact same bolts that are used on the deflector, so it will tie in perfectly.
  8. afm affects startup and idle. It was the first thing my tuner picked up on when i started the car. a new one will make a world of difference. and you've done the right things to lean the car out. o2, water temp, thermostat. Now I'd be changing plugs, airfilter, and possibly taking it back to stock boost.
  9. I do this for a living on new cars. you should get a trim puller kit and a good thin flashlight, pry the piece with the trim puller and use the flashlight to look for the clips. once you've found the clip, use another trim puller under the clip and push down using the leverage of the trim puller. It may be easier to start from the broken clip side, or start from the top where it meets the roof lining.
  10. I bought a heli guy nibbler off eBay. I saw a youtube vid of one and was amazed at how clean and easy the cuts were! Thanks again bob Ok haha I'll try and make the intake part, I really don't have that kind of skill though.
  11. I have a c34 so they're set up differently than your car. I've got thicker sway bars F+R and you could feel the weight difference. When i first drove it i noticed the difference in the first turn i took. I was like you, i wanted better handling without lowering the car so i bought swaybars, and they did wonders! The car was setup perfectly for the street. Obviously I'm looking at lowering it and even better handling now.
  12. That looks pretty good! Thanks bob! I made these a while ago and I'm just throwing up pics now because I'll get it done soon. Here was another intake I made, but they're going to be way too much effort for my skill level
  13. I was kidding about the cardboard part guys haha I'm going to use 0.8 like the deflector. No way would I use tin snips, I was thinking maybe a jigsaw with fine teeth or a dremel or a die grinder?
  14. Lol thanks bob. I'm really keen to get some alloy and cut one out Something like this? It's going to cost too much to get one made I think.
  15. Some of you might remember I had those deflectors re made for people using the std cooler and intake. About a week later I installed a front mount and pod and that was fine in winter. Now that it's coming into summer I needed to find a way to keep intake temps cooler. So I've come up with this airbox, I like this one better than any other one I've seen (I'm not biased at all) I'll be using the hole left over from the cooler return under the box to run some pipe to the lhs front grill for cold air. Would anyone else be interested in one? And what should I change to make it better/looks nicer? Also is cardboard flammable? I might use alloy like the deflectors

  18. ^ do they have anymore?
  19. Yep there are plenty of threads on other forums for widebands too. But hardly any information on widebands WITH good data logs & a gauge. Most of the widebands I've looked at don't have logs, or they don't show enough information, like AEM. Thank you Stirls, I just got on my PC and saw that it came with dataworks, for some reason it cut out 2 lines on my phone... Thanks Ben, Zeitronix is a great product by the looks of things, but double the price of the mtxl. I'm only after a gauge/widebando2/datalogger.
  20. Be aware h3c globes aren't cheap lol. You will literally lol when you see the prices
