What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Trex replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I was searching around on the net for my exhaust and I found the original for sale thread from the person who imported my c34. It had a list of items and mods that seemed similar to mine so I called the number and we ended up chatting for an hour on everything that he bought and did to the car once he imported it on '08. Turns out everything was done right the first time and left all of my questions answered, I was extremely happy and he was too after hearing the car was left unchanged for soo long, and the car had been very well looked after. Calling him was probably the best thing I have done to the car, and he had me thinking about his list of mods he was going to do, as we all know most old school info is lost in the 'archives' and ppl saying 'do a search ffs' Knowing that your pride and joy has been in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing and loved the car is a great feeling, and knowing that you bought the car with all the parts are still there is even better. (Well the owner I bought it from pulled 2 parts just before I bought it) -
Can We Please Make A C34 Section And An M35 Section?
Trex replied to C34S2STAG's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Easiest way would be when you start a new thread you write: Thread title: C34: problem M35: problem Or a menu pops down that you need to choose from. Most car variants on forums will do this to stop confusion. I think by segregating both cars to their own forum isn't the solution -
So I've been looking at A/F gauges with TP & RPM A/F data loggers. Seems like the only logical way to log? Logworks has this and more. I've been looking into the innovate mtx-l series as they are well priced and come with all the cables needed for installation from gauge - sensor - pc. The problem is I don't know what 'software' comes with this gauge (I'm waiting on an email back from innovative) What other types of gauges and loggers are people using? And why?

That's correct mate if you're buying some fog light globes, spend the money and get something decent. I went through 2 sets of Chinese ones before settling on some repco h3c -

Can you please change my name to 97Stag Thanks -
This thread wasn't meant to turn out like this. But it does feel good to get it off my chest And superben, it's hard to get a refund when they can easily say it's a chinese supplier, or the business is chinese, even though they sometimes say everything is made in Australia. It's hard to believe or know what is really going on or who is running the ship. I had read that many different stories on different boards from the 'business' its very hard to know what is going on, or where the supplier/business is.

I had no idea you made these or about your facebook page scotty! A lot of your stuff pops up in my newsfeed too haha. I'll PM you The problems i had with the silicone intake was, it's very soft and would kink and face directly into the hot pipe. I sent them photos, and received no reply. I decided to cut it and make do with what i had. i made it sit in a better position but it was still kinking and facing too high up. When I contacted them again with photo evidence of all my modifications, they blamed me for butchering their product (even though they had photos of the original uncut item) I asked if they even had a skyline to test it against and their reply was "I don't own a car" At this time i knew it was like getting blood out of a stone and left the situation. With the yellowjackets. They were on the car when I purchased it. I decided to get the car tuned by my friend in somersby (great guy, with the best reputation) He called me at 10PM to let me know that the engine had died midway through a run and was not starting. I feared the worst and I couldn't figure out what would have caused it. He saw smoking coming from the coilpack cover and after inspection, every coilpack had melted. He installed splitfires and i called it a day as i didn't want to try again. When i picked up the car we were talking about the ecu i was using and the factors that could have caused the yellow jackets to melt, It could have been the ecu, but everything seemed fine on the 2 runs prior (I threw the ecu away, as it could have been the cause) but after weeks of searching the net and meeting up with people and phone calls, i found out I wasn't the only one with the problem of yellow jackets melting. I found heaps of threads on the issue, and heaps of verbal testimonials on the matter. I contacted performance wise, who obviously denied the yellow jackets had anything to do with it, they even had the hide to blame my tuner, saying he cooked my engine. (if the engine was cooked, i would not be able to use 5w40 with no leaks and no water to oil contamination) I used this oil as a test, it's been 5000k's with no oil burnt etc (quite happy actually . This was roughly a year ago. (Correct me if i am wrong) 3 years after yellow jackets release, 2 years after their official release and out of testing. They also said they have a 2 year warranty on all yellowjackets, mine would have been within this warranty, I sent them the serial codes on a coilpack, but they said that didn't mean anything... ^ I didn't proof read, so please excuse the lack of grammar and spelling.

They gave you the car back running like that? Did they mention anything to you about the car running that way? When i got my car worked on by my tuner, He got me to drive it and he sat in the passenger seat. Everything was fine and we were both happy.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had used their metal intake kits. I messaged them to get pictures so i could get a rough idea on clearances and what type of filter i would have to use etc etc. Their reply was, "we don't have any pictures" I replied "could you please get any pictures from your personal cars or friends cars, or contact a recent buyer to send you a pictures, as i have had problems with your silicone intake and your coilpacks" I received no reply, and no refund to both purchases. I want this hard intake as it will suit my engine bay, but I'm receiving no help from them. No i don't want to pay them money again, but they have something i want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I got a very decent quote of $550 for the RPM. I haven't found anything cheaper for a pull clutch -
What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?

I love watching my kids wash my car, I dress them up and lil bikinis and just sit back with a beer and watch the show -
Talking to my tuner about this months ago. Nistune will work in a s1 if you convert to manual. You can use the neo ecu on a s1 & s2 rb25. I haven't been game to try the auto r34 ecu in my auto s1. I read some threads from years ago where the car would start and drive but would eventually die

Spotted a silver m35 in wingham last week and another silver m35 with heaps of stickers on the windows in Saratoga

I'm not too good with this stuff, so correct me if I'm wrong. A nistune will hold as much power as you want and what your afm and other parts etc can handle, so all it can do is tune your mods. Some stand alone computers have other features, like: launch controle, map sensors, digital displays(nistune can do this with ecu talk), inbuilt boost controllers etc. I have not seen the maps and parameters of the air ign fuel on a nistune so I can't comment on which one will give you a more precise tune. I'd firstly work out how much power you want and what mods you have done and then work out if your sensors and equipment can handle it. But that's why you're in here, someone to help you and who has had a similar setup. Call Dvs Jez and book in a time to go see him in nsw on the central coast. He has probably dealt with your setup before and can tell you what you need or don't need to achieve your power/circuit/drag times/goals.
