  1. And with insurance payouts, online wont give you much of room to play. Phone and make appointments and email if you believe your car is worth more than the market price, provide picture evidence of why. It comes down to who you speak to in that insurance company, full comp on my falcon with nrma over the phone I was going on about how perfect it was and the rare features it had and got a great agreed value. Then following year I got offered half of the agreed value from the last year HALF.
  2. 4bidn1 is saying that because the Stagea rs4 never came in manual it isn't covered by insurance even though they insure you. unlike your s13 which does come in manual and auto. You could be lucky and they'll just use 'Stagea' as a reference, but their job is to make money. I have no idea if its true or not, it doesn't sound right to me. I've seen crazier stuff get blu slipped.
  3. ^^ looks soo smooth and nice!!
  4. Call an engineer and someone who does blue slips then.
  5. Sell the 26 and buy a cheap 25 and build that? Would be heaps easier and save money
  6. I bought a wiring loom already done with a 32 ecu. It started ran and drove but was too lumpy for my mods. Double checked the wiring and everything looked fine, but i had my doubts because the way it was wired didn't make sense to me. But I tried it in good faith. It should never have been sold to anyone and should have been thrown away Took it to get tuned and he said he would check the wiring too but once on the dyno it melted 6 coilpacks. Took it home and cut all the wires and marked them and triple checked the wiring. It all went to where it should. But still didn't make sense on why it was wired like it was (really messy) ((like really messy)) I wouldn't bother with a nistune and I'd go a brand new piggy back. If you really want you can have the ecu and wiring loom for 100. I was going to throw it away and sell the ecu for 100.
  7. Hahaha I didn't know it was you. Yeah I got your payment thanks. I'll be getting some screws this weekend, it's hard to find nice ones in the size I want, should look 100x better than my black one!
  8. Are there any rules on harnesses for track days? Tried the cams website but I couldn't find any information. I was looking at mounting them on the original seat belt mounts with the original seat belt. Like this: figure A & B http://www.proracestore.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=4827 The I bolt seat belts look to be a bit of a pain and I don't want to drill into the carpet/body.
  9. Haha how did you get payment details? Is your name Travis? They won't be long, A week, 2 at max. I'm meeting up with my metal worker this afternoon or tomorrow
  10. Be careful going higher because if you go too high the stock shock will be at its full length of travel and won't work at all, it will bounce everywhere. My friend and I tried it on a commy ute and the rear lifted off the ground when braking hard
  11. Why would you want to go higher? 400mm is the stock height and is enough to get over gutters and not scrape.
  12. Nissan spent millions on r&d Some guy has a backyard and an angle grinder Discuss!
  13. Hey guys, sorry I was working yesterday morn till late last night and didn't get a chance to get on a computer. 14. PMs sent to everyone on the list. As soon as everyone pays ill send them that day.
  15. I sprayed a lil bit of carbie cleaner in the blocked off vac line at the rear of the plenum. Fixed my cold start rev hunting. I only sprayed it 5 times for 3-4 seconds while it was running and it's been fine since. Weird because I didn't think it would reach the cold start or do anything.
  16. So you're the one who bought them from the uk?
  17. Thanks dale tomorrow ill be emailing everyone on the list an invoice. After you've received this please pay straight away and send me your address so they can be sent this week
  18. Thanks Duncan. I shouldn't have written that... It happened last month. Basically he drove on the shoulder doing 120+ in a 70 zone and locked it up and swerved into me and I had to brake and the traffic behind me almost crashed into me, he almost hit the car in front. Then carried on like a f**kwit for 10mins trying to get through traffic. He came out of nowhere. It was really weird hey. Never going to Bathurst!
  19. Does anyone know what track this is in the sticker? I took this photo just before heading to the cop shop.
  20. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=yK15auAz35E&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DyK15auAz35E may be the same guy? Ha
  21. There are a few ways to do it. 1. Cut the sun roof out of another, trace out the new peice and cut yours and weld 2. Trace out the sunroof and cut, no welding needed 3. Get a pro to do it so its perfect with the roof lining and no creases and leaks. There are a few how to on youtube on all 3 ways. I was looking to do it a few years ago, and the only people who wanted to do it were the chop shop, rebel restorations, hollianda etc because everything needs to be perfect. If the roof is bent the sunroof warped or anything wrong with any of the parts you want to use, it will cost you a lot! Everyone I spoke to said to buy new. I've read a few horror stories about cutting too much out and the other problems mentioned above
  22. ^^ haha I was shocked when I saw a supra first hand. No boot space at all.
  23. I'm getting my cams license and want to start tracking for fun, and this sort of shit worries me, it makes me think my car is too slow and someone will get pissed off and come too close. But EC and WP both have a no pass in corners rule I think
  24. The slow turning? Most racing sims I've played turn the wheels left-right a lot quicker than the gt series.
