  5. Hi all havn't posted for a long while Recently fitted a Blitz fmic to my fairly standard r33 (11 psi boost eahaust & power fc) Since then the engine refuses to rev over 3000rpm going flat & fluffy almost like a rev limiter) The best advice (from just jap & others is to replace the std ign coils which i have done with spitfires have also changed spark plugs Made no difference Has anyone got any ideas
  6. Hi All have just fitted a Gates replacement timing belt & adjustable ex timing wheel (set to 3deg retard) to my r33 s2 All works ok except a slight scraping noise that appears to be coming from under belt cover After removing the top cover i noticed that there are arrows marked across the belt near the "GATES " label (hadnt noticed before installing must have crept there after starting engine) My question is are these directional indication iarrows or in other words do i have the belt on back to fromt & does it matter BTW After fitting timing wheel have noticed a slight drop in power a lo revs under 3000 but more 3000to 4000 would be gratefull if anyone has any ideas re above
