  2. Hey Paul, does that mean there are spares? If so then can you save me a small-as-it-can-get and a lanyard for me...? I have a mid-semester exam to study for so i wont be able to make it (and it's quite far too )
  3. 5 of my mates have that Autowatch too, 3 of them have window windups and 2 of the 3 have boot release also. very useful Have you heard of the module for the auto watch that u can install, when u arm it it says "system armed" and when u disarm it it says "system disarmed"? kinda funny at first but the joke kinda wears out ...

    driving in japan

Hiroshima! hah, i was born there. it'll be a b!tch driving around a big car like an R34 in japan, that's why i hardly saw any Soarers or Supras there. Just too inconvenient to get around. Hiroshima - depending on where u live, u probably wont need a car, there are quite a few buses around, if u can catch the Astramline (the monorail) then that's a bonus, they come every 10 mins off-peak and around 3 mins peak time (ie 6-8am, 5-7pm...) be prepared to pay a bit on getting around though, it can get quite expensive...
  6. bummer too... i wish we found the dude and copped him a good ol' SAUWA beating Sydney broadway area = Perth ??? area?
  7. how bout mine? huahuahua... now there's a car u can't hire elsewhere Sorrento has a car-hire place but that stocks the usual flashy cars, eg your Z4, Alfas, Mercs...
  8. well apparently THAT wasnt the first time either... if u refer back to that thread u'll see...

  10. thank you thank you :thankyou:
  11. Matt, any pics? preferably of hot girls instead of the skyline lift thingy topic at hand... jk
  12. thats true, i think it has to have at least a turbo version of it as well as a non-turbo. i rekkon if those rear lights stay like that (circle-less) then it's gonna be the first time people are gonna want to change those into the round traditional lights dating back to my doc 30... thats what i say to my friends anyway, skylines are one of the rare cars that has no need to change the tail lights into the lexus/chrome kinda styles... i feel like that's gone out the window now... *disclaimer: strictly my opinion, no one has to agree with me whatsoever.
  13. it's out in japan and has very little popularity with the people out there. Demand is turning back towards the R32s, 3s and 4s...
  14. yellow plates... damn can it get any dodgier...?
  15. well i heard on previous threads that the more crooked it is the harsher they'll handle you... i even heard one guy's yellow was upside down...?
  16. Clean bowled
  17. Haha in japan at some bar in tokyo they sell plates for you to throw at a brick wall to release some stress / anger relating to work / whatever. chewing gum? i went through two packets at MoS...
  18. a SAUWA umbrella...now that's going a little too far or as Boostzor said, yeh just rice up ur brolley, NOS, GReddy stickers would be nice. How bout a SAUWA jacket?
  19. I think it's one of those dob-in-a-hoon things that got passed thru as a law or something? Bit of advertising dont help either hey, all those commercials eg Commodore or a falcon tearing up a tornado or whatever it was, try pushing that on the road only to get it taken away from you...
  20. had this problem a few years ago, it's a slipping clutch orright, had to get a new clutch shipped over from Japan when that happened to me, put me back a few hundred dollars. Lucky for you it's an R33 so finding one wont be as hard. I'm pretty sure it (mine) was over 12 months old though.
  21. i wonder if the cops have it the same way as parking inspectors? I heard on Today Tonight a few yrs ago that a parking inspector gets more kudos / pay rise / better chance of a pay rise if they issue more fines. Some guy quit cos he was getting hassled by his council for not giving enough fines. So does a cop get better sh!t if he issues more fines / impounds cars / just being an arsehole?
  22. hey just another question regarding handbrake, is the R31 handbrake calipers compatible with the R30 ones? Cos a rare spares place in Perth says that he has an R31 one, and he wasn't sure if it's legit for an R30 either. Wonder if anyone knows on here? Thanks.
  23. man it's like, 2 threads above this one. It's even a sticky so u cant say u missed it.
  24. thats great news, looks like i gotta go buy an auto in case i let go of the clutch too quick. Idiots...
