i think they have to make clear on what the police can charge u with, cos i rekkon what i've seen in the past, the consistency of what gets done for and what doesn't get done is too cloudy. It's like the AFL tribunal... at least they're (a bit) more consistent (or are they? ) I think there has to be some past examples of what can be charged and what can't, maybe then we can understand how far we have to go until the fuzz deems it's reckless. Again, the problem is the actual cop itself...

thats exactly the point about hooning it depends on the person and not the car right? bullseye Scott, What if a regular skyline/commodore/other high powered car driver happens to step into his friend/gf/parent's cruddy/slow car and steps harder cos it aint getting anywhere (compared to his original beef), is that car gonna get impounded? no. Police need to be more consistent with their infringements. Eg a nice cop that says "nice car" vs a crap cop that gives u a first warning for releasing the clutch too quick on a wet day.

Dangerous / reckless acceleration? pfft, an excel can accerlate faster than my car... hell, a COP accelerates faster than my car... and how fast is too fast? ambiguous laws...

Long way? it's just up the road from my hood! 600 for the exhaust system, then 250-300 for the muffler? i spoke to a friend on the weekend that drives an R33 (in fact, he's on this forum) he said u can get mild steel exhaust system then just whack on a stainless steel muffler on the end of it, seems as if there's a few around like that blah blah? That 4 on the boost gauge on the very left of the dash, thats in psi? with the bleed valve, yeh heard of that before, my friend got one put into his 200sx at cypher cos it was dodgy or something? *scratches head*

Simple general question, and easier for WA peeps so i know where to go... i wonder how much u say the exhaust system will cost for a dr30? my friend bought a 200sx this week and i gotta keep up with him so yeh sounds like doing that would be the next on my agenda... and where to go to get it done? - thanks in advance
