Well unfortunatly I decided not to fix the r34 after her accidental conversion with the gaurd railing. I just could jusity the amount of money it was going to require to fix and my already existing loan.. it would be well over 100k.. So she has sadly departed and was bought by a company in Adeleide for parts... in conclusion I still have some items for sale if anyones interested in canberra. [brand new] Apex FC - $1500 [brand new] HKS type S cooler $2000 [brand new] 2 x Tomei 265 cam gears - $300 [used] 3.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust *no dump* - $800 if anyways interested at all, fire me an email to [email protected] :werd:

Still trying to figure out if I will rebuild her or not.. money really isnt the issue with fixing it as such.. but I miss her.. not sure about the replacment kit I got for it either now.. not that has any relavence.. but hmmm will keep everyone updated and If I do give up the parts I will let everyone know in a post.. and dont worry I wont be selling the parts expensive to get money back or whateva.. the parts will just be sold to the person that offers the most for them. -

I am still half half on what Im going to do with it at the moment.. I will decide within the two weeks.. its hard because I love her soo much and it took me alot to get the moeny in the first place to buy her. Someone asked it was a 1998 R34gtt it was in excellent condition I gave her lots of TLC.. and she costed me at the time around 38k... not including the moeny I have invested in her like parts.. but oh well I will keep everyone here updated as to what I am doing if I do wreck it I will put the parts up for sale here as well.. thanks all for your support -

Thanks all for the well wishes. Leech the car only had third party on it at that present time the switch over back to comp was not until 2 weeks. No not at work today amaru.. The car is at Daves shop if you want to check it out. I still dont understand what happend as I was only going at 50-60kms.. the car behind me said there were sparks coming from the rear rims.. yet both rear tires were fine.. so im at a loss.. there wasnt enough body roll for the rims to scrap.. Im not saying im the best driver in the world.. but Im used to throwing that car around alot and it felt completly different when this happned.. when it snaped back the lift side was thrown so hard it lifted the car off the ground for a moment and slammed into the railing. the police at the scene stated that was not going very fast well withing the limit and they couldnt find the cause. I was hit with neg driver $150 fine.. not that they money makes any difference to the cost of repairing the car... oh well live and let learn I guess.. -

Yeah this was me... It was pretty bad, the 34 has seen better days. Lost control of the car at only about 50 on the round about.. Im still trying to figure out what happend.. if there was something like oil on the road or what. got mild concusion from the accident hitting my head on the b-pillar but Im all ok. The 34 was smashed up pretty bad, both rims are bowed. the front suspension arms are all gone. the engine is good and and cooler.. the only thing that burst was the water resovior for the window washers. the rear right fender as seen better days.. The worst damange is the rear where the impact cut the fuel lines and all other lines back there alot of eletrical for some reason.. dont know why there was so much electircal wiring near the fuel lines on this car.. but they were all cut.. the fuel tank wasnt ruptured at all. and the exhaust system is fine.. with the the car on a hoist that night.. the steel undear the car is ripped.. actually torn into and I can see into parts of my boot from underneat. the estimated repair at the moment is around 15g and thats with second hand parts.. Just want to say there was a white R33 that stopped to help and a green 200sx. Thanks for stopping guys was really apprecaited.. -
man There is just no where to park

Need help sourcing R34 ex. manifold - turbo gasket
Envisage replied to Envisage's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Well. all went well with the gasket replacement I searched high and low for a gasket with lots of people saying they didnt have any. Nissan spare parts didnt have any but could get me a new one overnight for $45. the only other place that had one was Evo and they had new ones that I could pick up that day for $55 so I said fine...... When I arrived... apparently they had been all sold and he didnt have any left in the short amount of time it took me to drive from gordon to fishwick.. so after the yelling finnished some nice guy took me out the back and said I could have a stock RB25DET Gasket of a R33 for $10.. I had a look at the gasket and it seemed perfect.. he even gave me the bolts and restrictor clips for free.. so $10 and 8 hours later my new gasket is in place.. and my god I works like a charm.... Thankyou for all your help.. -

Need help sourcing R34 ex. manifold - turbo gasket
Envisage replied to Envisage's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I didnt really want to go near a Nissan dealer/parts section as it will be one way over priced part and I can expect them to take about 4 weeks to get me the gasket... But thanks for your quick reply.. -
Hey all, Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find a gasket for my R34 from the exhaust manifold to the turbo housing, I seem to have blown it to bits and its leaking quite a fair bit. I was running an atmo bov, so the ECU assumed the air was comming to mix with the extra fuel and it never arrived as it does with my atmo/ecu setup *not sure if it happens on all cars*. In turn caused some serious backfiring and vwalla kissed my gasket goodbye. So if anyone knows where I could find a gasket for this it would be a great help, whether or not autopro, autobarn carry them I have no idea, or even if that skyline workshop out in mitchell still exists I dont know. and am I looking for a T3 flange gasket? All help will be appreciated... Thankyou

Got Ow3ed something hardcore by a Blue S15 trial body kit, 19's and one nicely worked engine, running 16psi apparently but had external wastegate so not running stock turbos very nice indeed, and great guys too.
