awesome happy laps,got to run longer than normal cause nothing on after us,had a blast and would like to thank mike again for organising another successful happy laps and all the evo boys for coming along,had about 40 odd cars and everyone was well behaved,poor old legnum blow a coolant hose behind me on the second to last lap and i had an eventful slide the lap after on all his collant,and some oil as well i think cause i was sideways trying to get around the last corner before front straight.Didnt go off and i have to admit it was rather fun,and scary all at the same time.Now just got to fix my ps leak,and start saving up for some goodies,will be a work in progress but will slowly get the old girl to where i want.Will post some pictures later once i down load them.

dont most aftermarket ecus come with a basic set up,enough to get you to the tuners,so as long as nothing goes wrong or need replacing,wouldnt it only take a couple of hours the most?,just asking as interested in the process,im not a bean counter but do like to see where the moneys going.Do they all cost this much or is it mainly on the first tune?If so ill have to save rather hard for the tune.in the future,hopefully not to far away,work in progress.

well you are going to be busy then,i did some weight saving and removed my ac unit and pump last week,luckily i did cause i found that i had split hoses on my actuator and the bov.seems to be pulling a lot harder now,must of been causing false readings as now my boost is 2 pounds lower but goes better,got me stuffed,anyway good luck and hope to see you there,always enjoy running with you evo boys and girls.

brown and purple plugs are from the old idle control valve that would have been on the back of the manifold,i think thats what its called,the two grey ones are for the ignitor pack that sits on top of the cam covers,the smaller one plugs into another larger one that goes on the otherside of the ignitor,and the plug in the second picture looks like it goes to the wiper motor,thats what they look like on mine anyway,hope this helps,if im wrong someone else will correct me,lol.

what got me really mad was the fact that i had my family in the car and he was being in idiot in front of me,it could of gone very wrong and i dont appreciate people putting my kids lives in danger,after all it was suppose to be sunday cruise,not a drifting comp.

ok nick,pretty much passing other cars in the cruise on double white lines with on coming cars,luckily guys in the cruise were awake and managed to let the cock back in.Then lighting up his wheels and trying to drift at ever turn and came close to hitting andrew34 a couple of times.I let mike know that we dont need f**kheads like that on an otherwise enjoyable cruise,and luckily he f**ked off before we got to lunch in the tavern,i even told him that this was a cruise not a drift session but you cant get through to some people.There is a time and place for everything,its guys like this that f**k sooo much up for the genuine car lover,hopefully he doesnt come back cause the club doesnt need shit like this.There now you know,can you tell im a bit pissed about it?,lol,must be showing my age,still believe in common sense,courtesy,respect for other peoples property,and acting appropriately when representing the club,i hope im not the only one.

got a 330mm nardi steering wheel off my r32 for sale,complete less boss and bolts,red stitching and in good condition,am in the south brisbane area but could post as still has original box,after $60.

once again mike youve outdone yourself,thanks for an awesomely organised north cruise,apart from one hick up was a great day had by all,also would like to thank the 350z guys for turning out,hade some pretty impressive cars,also proved that you can get 400kms out of an rb,just did it,hope to catch up with you guys at qr happylaps.

yeh some of those evos were quick,but i still chopped at least 6 of them,and im running a standard 25,not bad eh?
