  1. Hey guys just wanted to know if anyone can tell me wether or not that the bodyform pannel shop was still trading? I am after one of there front bars that they sell and was featured on a blue r32 gtst in high performance imports about a year ago. Looked in the phone book and on the net but cant find a number that is not disconected, Anyone got any ideas? even on a replacement thats looks similar? thanks
  2. what a weapon!!!!! you got any pics of the whole car as well brett? dare i ask any chance of a ball park figure of the build cost?
  3. Hey guys also have a look at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=87598
  4. ok guys did the level 3 course last wednesday.... IT WAS GOOOOD. Had a heap of fun, and learnt alot in the process. I had luffy as my instructor and he was excelent. He always had the answers to any of my questions and had plenty to teach me about the track and my driving. Last time i drove on that course i was definately missing some of the apexes, and i think my lap time would be far improved. I got down to a 56.22 but i think last time i was there it would have been more like a 58. Having not done the finlay course i couldnt recomend one over the other but i can definately recomend the luff course. Im thinking about going back and doing the level three part of the course to, id also like to do the final course at some stage but that would require more of the precious folding stuff(cash) which i currently dont have!!!!!!
  5. Im there for a look on sunday for sure. was a good day last year
  6. I posted as soon as i booked sorry!!!!!!
  7. Yeah sounds good although i will have to save some money first, might also do the level 2 luff course first just to have the full set and then look into the finlay one. The level 2 luff course is the slid control part of their courses to so it looks like alot of fun, the gave us a demo of some of the stuff in the level 2 course at the end of the level 1 day... Was a big tease.
  8. Yeah basically the just coverd emergency stopping. Talked to you about how to get the best from your brakes depending on the type, eg abs and non abs. Also wet the skid pan down and showed you how your stopping distances changed and also how to swerve around simulated problems ahead while staying in control etc.... Also talked alot about every day saftey stuff like your driving position, Stuff that i thought i knew all about but i still learnt alot Looking forward to the level 3 when we hit the track so they can find me a bit of extra speed and some better technique. I was going to do some more performance mods to my car but decided it would be better to learn how to use what i have to its full potential first!!!!
  9. Well did the level 1 course on wednesday. Was loads of fun and would recomend it for everyone. while only being basic stuff i still learnt heaps! I think everyone should be made to do the level 1 course (or something similar) before they are allowed to get there p plates. Now looking forward to the level 3 course next week.... might go do the level 2 course as well.
  10. hey guys , Had a mate get some work done at joviant, reco engine. He needed a another one in 6 months. Not good...... That was for a subaru rs. I have had an exhaust put in by magic at brookie and they were excelent to deal with. Matt the owner also attended a track day i went to a few months after they did the exhaust on my car, i needed to change the cat on my car to a straight through pipe for the track and he was more than happy to lend me his tool box so i could do this. Matt also does tunning using the tillies dyno if anyone needs it!
  11. Spewing Anyone????? My mate pulled out as well. I need another skyline so i dont get scared
  12. Nice, if they tell you there arent any spots left get back to me as the mate i was doing it with is pulling out. so there will be one more spot but i am ringing up about that today so be quick if your keen....
  13. The dates are getting closer.... Anyone up for the challenge????
  14. Saw a nice silver r33 last night on forestway.. Plates CYAHSV..... Very good plates... think you might have a front blinker out as your back right hand blinker was going off like a disco!!!!
  15. Thanks for clearing that up!!!! when i get my front mount its on!!!!!
  16. Hey drunken still a no go for eastern creek???? Also where you at a historic car meet a oran park about 3 months ago?????? About half way down the pits in one of the gararges?
  17. Im also keen to get some tuning done. Not that i dont trust toshi, and ive read the reviews in his posts many times but it just worries me that he doesnt do any tuning on the dyno or road...... I know you have to inform him of mods you've made to your car but each mods will change depending on the health of the individual engine and what products you use etc... also i take it that toshi takes of the speed and boost limiter??? does anyone know what the factory boost limit is???? confused.
  18. So anyone comin????? will have to do the finlay course after this one i think.
  19. Not sure mate but it wouldnt surprise me if they did. Although you would have to be very unlucky to crack your bar...... let me refrase that, im sure damage to cars would be pretty uncomon as otherwise they would use something even more flexible and soft than witches hats..
  20. to good the more lines the merrier
  21. wasnt booked out when i checked late last week. hope to see you there
  22. yeah same. my old man was going to get me golf lessons so i suggested that this might be a smarter option and he agreed. you dont hear of many people getting killed by someone slicing a golf ball so i think the driving lessons are a better bet.
  23. no worries.... enjoy!! youll have to let me know how it is.
  24. Brush that one come to the one on the 19th...... you know you want to.
