Okay so I have a 180sx which had R33 GTST brake gear on it (drum handbrake and all) and last year I decided to upgrade to GTST calipers to Brembo's from an R33 GTR. Whilst I was at it I installed a BM57, new DOT 5.1 fluid, new pads, new DBA4000 rotors, new ADR approved braided lines etc. Now the issue is that when the brake pedal is pushed upon the first push it is soft, then the second, is hard like it should be. The car still brakes by all means but its as if it has 50% of play. Me and my mechanic bled the system 5 times and it still did the same thing, he had installed these brakes a couple times before and told me he's never had this issue. Thinking its vac related we did a smoke test but nothing came out. But speaking of vac, when I give the car a hit and let off the accelerator or brake suddenly the revs drop rapidly and at times the car will stall. I just thought it was due to a lack of a BOV but I thought I would mention it if it's related to this. Recently I have been driving my car pretty hard and I really would like the problem fixed, I just don't know where to start. Any tests I can do would be appreciated. Here are the possible culprits I've been told it maybe: - Faulty booster - Play in the pads - Air trapped somewhere it cant get out like the ABS unit

As per title I am looking for a disco potato. I need it to be the normal GT28 intake and not a v band. I also need it to have a .64 rear housing. Just need something I can throw onto my 180sx and call it a day. I am located in Sydney but if youre interstate and willing to ship I dont mind covering for it. PM me or better yet shoot me a text on 04 zero tw0 82 23 73

Bought this recently for my 180sx but I don't want to chop it up to make it fit. It's a rad exhaust and rare nowadays. Has original serial numbers and little to no scrape marks. Well taken care of, looks brand new and just waiting for a new home. If came off a R32 GTR, I'm not familiar with Skylines but it may fit other models. I will throw in a 3.5 to 3 inch bolt on reducer since most guys are running 3 inch cats. If would like to get in contact please text me on 04 zero two 83 23 73. Im not on here often so thats the best way to get in touch. I got it for $800 literally a few days ago, I would like $700 for it. Location: Sydney

So Ive got brembo brakes (full set) and brand new gtr rotors. Is it all a bolt on affair from now? Ive heard I need new bolts for mounting the calipers or is that for R34 brembos? Please help! its so confusing with all these different things Im reading up.

Just a quick questions for all you Skyline experts. Does this little thing on the diagram mean its the lock for the plug? Sort of like a pointer to show you which wire is what. Thanks in advance

Up for sale is my very clean S13! Served me well for a long time but Id like a change. I have alot of receipts for this car for alot of the work done to the car. Its probably one of the cleanest Silvia S13's out there.. it'll be sad to see it go. Drives perfectly, its been my daily for a long time going to and from work but lately I rarely drive it. Always been garaged and serviced every 5000km. It has relatively low k's for its age (183 000km) and you will see upon inspection its been well taken care of all its life. Always used Shell 98 V-Power. Only bad points about the car would be that the left indicator has a broken bracket, sits fine its just cable tied. I'll consider swaps only if cash my way. Looking for a Skyline, 180sx etc or similar. Please text me, no PMs or calls. Its just easier to keep track. 0402 832 three seven three Located in Baulkham Hills, NSW. If you could link me or something it would be greatly appreciated! I cant find anything like that.
-
Yeah I did all I could find was this, it doesnt really tell me which wire does what coming from the sensor. ps these might help too
-
Hey guys So I put in a set of stock R32 GTR din gauges in my S13 and Ive managed to get the Volts and Oil Temp to work perfectly. I cant seem to get the boost gauge to work. I have a R33 boost gauge sensor which Ive been told it works with the R32 gauges. There is 3 pins coming from the sensor and I cant find any diagrams or anything. Im assuming that the pins are: positive, negative and ground? Any help would be great, also is there a way I can find out if the sensor is rooted? Heres the boost gauge sensor:
-
Sorry I meant when the key is in ACC, not when the car is on.
-
If you have the stock din gauges, when you put your key into ignition does the boost gauge just sit at the bottom or just it level out at 0? Thanks in advance
-
Hey guys, I need some quick help with these 3 wires coming off my boost gauge sensor. I bought it with the loom cut for my SR20 powered car and Ive been scavenging through wiring diagrams with no help. Judging by the colours, does anyone know what each of them do? Thanks in advance, I really need it done asap! Wires: Black and Yellow: White and Blue: Green:
