  1. Hi guys, I recently bought my manual 33 gts-t. I am really happy with it, but was wanting your thoughts on a few things. Mechanically, it is quite standard, all it has is a hks pod filter (with no air feeder nor heat sheilding) and a 3.5 inch cat back stainless steel exhaust. I am just looking just to throw $500-1000 at it now just to do some basic performance mods to it. My thoughts are to stick a single stage boost controller in ($100?) and prob a SAFC2 ($400 second hand) and also some heat sheilding for the pod filter and i thought i might go out and get the standard air feeder (the part which would have originally fed into the airbox) and whack this on. So my questions are... firstly, do you think this would be approprate first things to be doing? I thought of maybe a bigger dump pipe and hi flow cat - would this be a better way to go? Secondly, if i were going to go with the couple of mods in the above paragraph, what brand boost controller should i get. I had a turbosmart dual stage on my old car, s13 turbo silvia, and it spiked up to 6psi which i reckon is just shit. Thirdly, any thoughts on heat shielding for the pod, or increased cool air? Also, with bloody hicas, i too have a aftermarket s/wheel and therefore the hiscas warning light comes on after 10-15 mins driving. I don't think it has the boss kit and am happy not to have the 4 wheel steer. The light just shits me though. I have done a search on the forums but there seems to be no clear answer as to whether leaving it as is can damage the car. Is it ok to just remove the bulb, or should i buy the lock hit? In my research, most ppl seem to say that the 32 would require a lock kit since it is a mechanical system. However, with the 33 it can be just left. Is this correct? It would be great to hear from all you experts if you have any thoughts. Thanks in advance guys. Cheers.
