  1. Good tip. I like it. How big are the fuel tanks? 80litres?
  2. I forgot about Rainex. Good call Scott. Do you have the part number for your rear wiper at all?
  3. You're right about that. I find when I have a boot full of groceries that cars are less skittish. Wasn't a big deal but often there are often some simple ways to loose excess kilos and everyone helps. It may be my new family wagon but doesn't mean it can't fun when the wife and baby are not coming for the ride. Just a better battery can save a little.. http://www.tuneruniversity.com/blog/2012/03/power-to-weight-ratio/ http://www.autoobsession.com.au/category/odyssey/odyssey-lightning-odyssey/
  4. That weight pays for itself.. but I'll keep it in mind.
  5. Not looking to run an empty shell but often there are simple ways to trim fat from cars. I needed a wagon and I like turbo's, that's what i like about Stagea's.
  6. Not really. It's just another way to make a car handle better. You are right that it may be a lost cause but you take 50/100kg out of any car the performance increase will be significant. Anyway, it's more about chipping away at performance from every angle possible rather than having to pump huge power numbers into them..
  7. Mate that's awesome.A big help. Let's do it Josh..
  8. I care for weight loss funny man. That's why I started the thread.
  9. I didn't think about the rear.. hmm
  10. Ok thanks for that. I'll try the link and measure up the blades..
  11. Oh that's good news. Yeah I put them on all my cars and they cool. Minimalist and effective. You don't happen to have the link to that UK site or a part code do you?
  12. Has anyone swapped their wiper blades and arms for those new simple style type blade and arm assembly? I think it's bosch who make them.. Like these - http://compare.ebay.com.au/like/290848100104?ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes
  13. I think 1670kg's is promising. I have no sunroof either.
  14. Sorry I thought you meant you had an RX. You mean your RS weighs 1670?
  15. Yes. From my googling the weight of an RS is 1650kg..Can anyone else correlate or correct this weight?
  16. Ok iv'e got the triple gauges above the ashtray..So RS for now.
  17. So here's a noob question. Which model do I have? It's Spoolin's old car.. Do you know it? Looks like your one in the picture..
  18. The weight distribution is a valid point and didn't even cross my mind. I assume the ARX weight is for the AWD model and the RX is 2WD. Is that right?
  19. Forgive me if this has already been covered. I was surprised to see how much the stock M35 weighs. 1965kg's! Has anyone made any attempts to reduce this weight? Are there any carbon fibre boots, bonnets or panels available for these cars?
  20. Thanks mate. With the app working from my phone I could officially be on SAU 24/7..
  21. Let me know when you guys take your cars for your next drag runs. I want to see this!
  22. I use my facebook login on my computer but my FB logins don't work on the phone app..
  23. Thanks mate. I will respect it the same way I can see you did.
  24. Picked up. Very happy. Want to thank Chris for all the time and effort he has put into this car. It will be appreciated and treated like a member of my family. I had a car detailing business until recently so rest assured I will endeavour to keep the car in the flawless condition it is in now. I could see in Chris's eyes what the car meant to him and you can be confident it is going to a good home.
  25. Just got home. Car picked up from Spoolin. Very happy!
