  1. how about anyone in adelaide?
  2. Roy, sorry its abit late but only just saw ya question! in answer, its been off the road for some major modifications last few months but will be back on the road with the k27 in a week. will update you if you like.
  3. Skyline model = HR31 Wheel diameter = 17" Wheel width = 8F/9R" Wheel offset = +30F/+32R Tyre size = 235/40-F 255/45-R Stud Patern= 114.3 Modifications to fit = lose the plastic inner guards. (also have 5 stud hubs which alter the offset out about 3mm)
  4. need to make an adapter flange to fit my T3 k27 to a T4 greddy high mount manifold and was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere i can take a look at one? i'll probably make my own and was thinking just a bit of 15mm plate with studs on the upper side and recessed allen key bolts to screw the adapter to the manifold. any oppinions? the other option is to put studs on both sides of the adapter and drill out the threads on the manifold but then i've butchered a good manifold.. any other ideas people have seen? cheers Karl
  5. just my 2c about the tomei or larger diameter low mounts, if you want the best response then keep the runner diameter small in order to keep the gas vilocity high. faster the gas travels the harder it hits the turbine. but then you loose out on flow at the top end... sort of a catch 22.
  6. just thought i'd throw this up here quickly to see if anyone knew whether the timing belt tensioners and idler pulleys are the same accross the rb series? cheers!
  7. can anyone confirm that thier the same as the rb20det ones? i've got the exact same problem with finding them, CBC got the part numbers off my OE ones but aparently thier supplier is out of stock..
  8. what sort of rpm is that making boost at?
  9. just trying to ID my camshafts in my motor, everything else on the motor is off a GTR just wondering whether the cams are too.. my cams have approx 7.6mm lift on the exh. whats the lift of gtr and rb20det cams? and i did search, couldnt find anything though.
  10. looking to get some braided lines made up for my car and was wondering who in adelaide has had some lines made up? where did you get them and how much did you pay? Cheers Karl
  11. Ok thanks, guess if and when it does go pop i'll just buy a S1 25det box so i can atleast retain my clutch Cheers!
  12. hmm... just that i've just spent big rebuilding my os giken twin plate and bought all new clutch fork, pivot ball, slave cylinder etc with it. would hate to have to throw it all away in 3 months when i destroy the 20det box and decide to upgrade.
  13. Just a quicky, when putting a r33 gearbox onto an rb20det, do you retain the rb20det clutch, fork, slave and pivot ball? cheers! Karl
  14. Ouch! thats still $800 dollars plus.
  15. Ever since i've had my car the clutch has groaned like mad when taking off. i've got the engine and box out the car ATM so need to do something about it. i havent stripped the clutch yet, has anyone had much experiance with twin plates being noisy? i'm hoping its just the spigot bearing but if its not what am i looking for? anyone had one rebuilt? what sort of money did you pay? looking at OS giken's prices looks like it'll be cheaper to buy a new clutch! Cheers Karl
  16. after a set of 32gtr or 33gts-t brakes (front and rear, calipers and rotors) pm or email me on [email protected]
  17. not to hijack the thread or anything but while we're on the topic of caliper offsets, anyone know what the thickness of the outer side of the caliper is? ie from outer disc face to outer caliper face? need to know wether my rims will hit when i put mine on! back on topic! Cheers
  18. just a suggestion, but why not just sell the 34 calipers and get the brembo's that go with the discs, would be the right offset from the get go. or fit the 310mm rotors from the GTT and be happy. but then theres the price tag on the brembo's....
  19. this is what i thought! Have you tried bolting them on?
  20. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...B20_piston.html 82.0mm pistons, so boring is required.
  21. answered ya own question there dude! Thats the best option really, as from memory the rack itself has the feed lines to the rear rams, that valve block with the electric solinoid in it is just the means to control the flow. also the aus rack is probably about 1-2kg lighter than the jap hicas one so there should be no question! also as for replacing the rams, i've done this on my gts-x and its all good but still allows a small amount of east-west movement, i think the best way would be to remove the member bushes and get solid rubber or noly ones made up, like the gibson one. ie:
  22. how much for the Algernon Intelesse 17's?
  23. Bump! anyone? or should i just bite the bullet and sell all three and just bolt a 2535 to the standard manifold?
  24. well the KKK K27 for my car is alittle too laggy for my liking so was thinking its time for a downsize. trouble is, i've got this awsome trust stainless tuned manifold and hks gate which i'd like to retain. i'm only really after about 240rwkws or something that spools with the response of a 2535 or small td06. anyone got any ideas? do garrett make a t4 flanged housing for any of thier medium ranged turbos? its on an rb24det btw.
