  8. I am insured with torque I have a r32 gtst...are you sure you dont mean shannons?? Torque definitly insures gtrs and silvias...I have two friends with these cars insured with them... ???? Russ

  10. put me down for a set of fronts...1 LH and 1 RH. For R32 GTST 5 stud. Slotted only..not crossdrilled. I do live in Melbourne...dont care if it takes a couple of weeks to get them here...ie slowest freight... How do I pay etc.... Cheers, Russ

  13. Arent the rb25 injectors side feed high impedance...rb20det are top feed high impedance...or is it just a matter of injector rail... Cheers, Russ
  14. yeah will buy a torque wrench when I find out what the highest torque Bolt in the car is and get one to suit...be the head bolts I presume... Cheers, Russ

  17. HI all, Finished the teardown of the engine...fark there are a lot of bits... cleaning everything up at the moment...will send the block off for hot dip shortly and then paint it. My rb20det workshop manual should arrive next week, that should help...also bought a couple of engine building and blueprinting books off amazon to helpa bit... Cheers, Russ
  18. I have tried numerous pads...pagids, endless, ebc, other crappy brands... The pads I have ended up taking a bit of a liking to are Ferodo DS2000's they are about 100-600 degrees or so and are quite predictable and progressive...The DS3000's are also fantastic for very hard driving or track days...   19. Tomei make an 82mm piston to fit an rb20 conrod...does anyone know if aires, wiseico or any of these guys would make these sized pistons?? The Tomei items are 1900 or so including pins clips and rings...can I get them any cheaper anywhere else.... Cheers Russ
  20. As I have stated before...I am insured with Torque...they are extremely helpful..open to a bit of negotiation.... I am doing my engine rebuild at the moment and when I rang them to find out about insurance while doing this they were very helpful...gave me restoration insurance for $140 a year and refunded the balance promptly... They are underwritten by Lumley...havent had to make a claim yet though.../ Cheers Russ

  22. Work at RMH... I will try and get a digi camera soon to document a bit...will be keeping accurate costs... Pulled the exhaust manifold off...dodgy bastards who must have repaired it at some stage before me...on the rear end there were three busted studs, unrepaired. That means the first intact stud was the forth one...haha dont know how it sealed properly..maybe it didn't. Also pulled off the top half of the intake manifold... Having trouble with the flywheel bolts...very very tight... Cheers, Russ
