  1. I am going up to Reefton spur today (Sat 12/4), across to marysville and back across the black spur if anyone is interested in coming along, such a nice day... If you are call me 0414 877 472...Its an afternoons worth of excellent driving roads, the best. If you have never been you really should go when you get a chance. Cheers, Russ
  2. No Probs...That is just for the pipes I trust. When do you want them, one piece is still in my car, hope to get it replaced this week, postage may be an issue for you from melbourne? Cheers, Russ
  3. Same and what ever sycorb wants i'll go 20 bucks cheaper
  4. Sorry wouldn't have a clue, you'd have to ask them, I only had a brief look. Look up their website, they respond to emails reasonably promptly too.. If you get one, let us know how it goes will you, likewise for me, i'll let you know if I decide to get one. Cheers, Russ
  5. SKYLNR: Can you get 044's still or did you mean it was a one off favour?
  6. 32's take h4's in the main globe definitly and h3c's for the others on the inside. Russ
  7. Ok, $750 or so for a r32 gtst, I think they claimed a 100% increase in clamping force over standard.... Not fitted though, have to get that organised yourself, easy enough to find someone to dot hat though... Also if you are ever in melbourne give a place called Racebrakes in racecourse rd Nth Melbourne a call....they have a lot of that stuff and ussually know what they are talking about. I imagine benefits are in longer life, in actual use day to day I doubt you could tell the difference, both have a potential to be noisy and operate in much the same fashion. Russ
  8. I am in the same boat although nopt as much hp. I was looking at www.horsepowerinabox.com.au and they have a cushioned ceramic button clutch. They run this type of clutch in lots of the v8 supercars, not sure whether this one would be good for 800hp though, thats some serious grunt, you may have to go twin plate ?? Cheers, Russ
  9. Yeah man, I built the black spur, reefton spur road and all those wicked driving roads, so get out there and enjoy them. Taxpayer
  10. Have you guys seen the video of the supra blowing off a hyabusa from a rolling start at 130km/h ??
  11. Ahhh...I forgot to mention... **** I PAY A LOT OF TAX...I payed for all the roads in melbourne I think.... Russ
  12. I am an ICU nurse, if you want to earn money...be a nurse. I am not kidding, I can earn $55 per hour for 16 hours a day on the weekends and $30 per hour on weekdays. I work an the weekends and have 3 or 4 days off a week unless there is a big bill headed my way. I have done 7 years of study to get to where I am, don't think it was all easy, but if you work hard you can do almost anything you want. Everyone laughs when I say I am a nurse...But I have to tell them how much I get payed...not to brag but to shut them up, and shutted up they are. My other half is a Nurse as well, best lark out there I am telling you. Russ
  13. I have the same problem...I have similar figures for camber etc... I use $110 kellys to drive around on...wear rating of 430 or thereabouts...you cant wear them out I promise you. You just need to take your time in the wet. 2nd option find a piece of crap to drive every day and use the line for what it was intended...going really fast. By the way how did you decide 2.1 camber was good, just out of interest? How do you adjust your camber? Russ
  14. The guy told the cops I hit him.....The cops said to him...No he didn't The only joy I got.....There will be more to come though.
  15. I live in essendon...it mostly didnt happen here though....two of the episodes were in the city outside the Royal Melbourne Hospital where I work....essendon is good, never had anything taken in like 25 years, we used to not even lock the doors man, **** that though...they will be bolted all the time....ppl steqal shit from under your bloody nose these days. Russ
  16. I am insured with torque...$970 a year. They quoted me 1100 or so and I told them that was unreasonable so they said they would do it for $970... Just one question though, Why are we all comp insured when if you have a stack 99% of our cars are probably technically unroadworthy in some way shape or form, therefore voiding any insurance agreement....Dont bash me, I have it too, my car is definitly technically unroadworthy. Russ
  17. Only one of these was at my house...Haven't had anything taken from this house in 25 years, I think violence is the answer, not moving, will not give in to those ****ers, why should they make me move....no way.
  18. Lets be ****en vigilantes...we'll get a drunken posse together and anyone who has had their shit boosted can join. We'll find every ****er who has stolen anything and give tham a taste of bat. Still pissed off Russ
  19. One week ago I caught some ****er trying to break into my car out the front of my house, I chased him in my boxers and bare feet, caught the ****er bashed him in the mouth and called the cops.... Three days ago some bastard tried to steal my mountain bike from outside where I work....couldnt get home cause they ****ed up the lock and I couldn't undo it... Yesterday some other ****ers broke the rear window on my car an stole cd's, and my laptop computer....(don't worry it wasn't the skyline, just the old shitter, but still) I think if I ever catch anybody again...I may regret what I might do to them....I am really ****en angry now...I work hard for my shit, there is gonna be trouble. Pissed off. Russ
  20. On a g-tech I got 13.97 yippee...into the 13's.... I reckon my 60 time would be shite though. I didn't think it would be quite that quick, was expecting 14.2ish $110 federal 225's FMIC 13psi pod 3" all the way Russ
  21. I wish my car was a dyno queen!!
  22. All right now...have made a brief enquiry about the DR-Drft ecu...I just have a couple further questions...If the r32 ecu is fully programmable, why would you ever put in a $3000 computer, unless you want traction control or a few of the other obscure goodies some of them offer like rotational idle etc. Why is it not a commonly known fact, or is it and I have been in the freakin dark for ages....So the r32 the only one, I was sure I had investigated...maybe I assumed they were all the same and they aren't..... Anyway I figure a replacement ecu is by far the most cost effective way of getting to 200rwkw or so..... Wont have to save up for it either.....maybe I really should get that new clutch first though...doh. Meggala, thankyou for showing me the light man. Russ
  23. I saw an older FZR1000 do a 10.9 at calder....Maybe its the same one... My RZ250 did 14.9 once......did mid range quite quick but anything over 80km was slowass. Russ
  24. Twisties against a bike are no fun...Reefton spur numerous times held up bigtime by gsxr700's zx9r's except on the one straight where they gain about 6 km in 2 sec...bugger. But overall over the 26km or whatever it is I don't think most riders could be within a minute of what I could do..... Think your so good with your 100kw in 100kg. (wish my car weighed 100kg) Russ
  25. ok... I hadn't considered it as an option...who do I call...Would it make as much difference as a wolf or other fully programmable computer at 190kw or so...what I mean is would I only get more benefit from a computer than drift ecu after 190kw or so. Russ
