Lights go green Mr 'I just learnt to drive' erupts in wheelspin, the lines 255 RE540's bite, 2 litres of nissans finest goes to work and were away.... Ahh he thinks there are two roundabouts coming up too, I'm in a porsche, I'll show him who's boss here...but alas, poor boy is probably more than a hundred metres behind on exiting the second roundy. Not bragging, its just great, Gotta love the 'Line. Russ

He reccomended the wolf might be a value for money option. Especially given that I am not chasing 1000's of Kw...not at this stage anyway. HI, I am looking at engine management systems for rb20det. I was talking to a guy today and he said that the latest Wolf 3D V4 fits rb20det and is actually quite good value for money, $1350 or so plus fitting obviously, when compared with autronic etc $2500 +. Has anyone had any experience with Wolf 3D in their skylines? I am interested as to the issues you may have had...do they use standard AFM or does it need a Z32 AFM? etc etc... Any help or comments appreciated. Thanks, Russ

I drive a 1980 Mazda 323 with cobwebs, Because of people being such shits on the road when you try to do the right thing, I do what I want when I want now, always making sure I am in the right....mostly. In this car people dont be pushy to you cause they know you don't give a shit about your car.... If I take the 'line for a spin every ****er wants to race you...beat you to this merge, and so the list goes on.... Russ

If the diff is giving a clicking sound doesn't this mean it is not locked..or 'engaged' at that time...I very much doubt that it would be a full time locked setup...that means tyre wear etc when parling is not really an issue....well not unless you park with gusto anyway. I may be wrong here but I was sure the clicking was when it is disengaged. Russ

HI all, Does anyone have a reliable mechanic in the western suburbs?? I know ice performance do a decent job but they are a long way away..... I am having trouble finding someone over here who knows what they are doing and are reliable. Any suggestions please...just need motor type stuff not suspension and brakes etc. Thanks all. Russ

purple pig sell the silicone I think, thats where I got mine.... You can get reducers in exhaust material if that swhat you are using, or, you can get the reducers in the silicone material too. Maybe check the shop on www.autospeed.com.au , they sell the silicone too for a reasonable price....it is pretty expensive though. Cheers, Russ

Does the rb26dett head fit rb20det bottom end too, or not? Also I have simply wrapped my intake from plenum to intercooler outlet in insulation and the heat soak was measurably different. (Looks dodgy but...) Even before I put the thermometer on it the pipe stays cold with the insultion but without it is quite hot to touch. Cheap way to earn a few measly Kw. Has anyone else done this...I thought it was a pretty cheap obvious thing to try. Does someone have the contact details for where sub zero intakes are sold. Cheers, Russ

Pity petrol costs so much now...used to cost bugger all to go out there for the afternoon or whatever...it costs a fortune now. If anyone has an oil well in their backyard they have been keeping for a rainy day...this is it man. Russ

Anyone else ever done any timed runs up reefton spur.... we used to go there and do some testing with rally car. Best goddam road ever, pretty hard on brakes down though. If anyone hasn't been there ....get there. Cheers, Russ
