  1. ...or this one:
  2. Bahahahaha what a knob shiner! If he had any intelligence or consideration, he would've let us past! Bet he was a houso!
  3. LOL ROFL Had a really great day guys - Ash and I very much enjoyed meeting you all and hope to catch up again Ash got some pretty awesome photos, might chuck a few up? Today I learnt: - My UHF is shit - So are Peugeot drivers Thanks again!
  4. Looks like I won't be detailing the car with all this rain oh well... I'll see if Jaycar is open on the way out of the sunny coast for a CB...
  5. Hope we get up early enough to wash the car!
  6. Just got a fully fledged alarm system fitted today (immobiliser, glass break detectors, shock sensors, remote boot release, etc etc etc) and the bloke installing it said it was the cleanest skyline he'd ever worked on was nice to hear someone else saying it - reinforces that I made the right decision So... I'll see you Saturday fusion07? What's your actual name?
  7. Funny you should mention nismo indicators! The first thing I did was order and fit a set of nismo smoked front and side indicators - looks way meaner now Gave it a second wax yesterday too, wanna build up plenty of wax in the early stages so I can slack off later on I'm pretty sure the weathershields are mounted the same as any other aftermarket weathershield, clips & screws and maybe a little double-sided automotive tape? I could be wrong but I don't remember anything unusual when detailing it... Are you coming on the cruise on Saturday?
  8. Haha the missus really wants to see Toowoomba and I just want an excuse to drive long distances
  9. I'm dogging work! Count me in!
  10. Oh wow! I wonder why? The condition and kms are amazing! I picked it up for 17k (down from 21k) with 4 new tyres driveaway Paul is an excellent bloke to deal with! I had the choice of white, silver, gunmetal or black but I love white cars and it was the only one with a sunroof! Plus the other white one had a nismo rear wing and I don't really like them... I hated the wheels when I bought it, but they're starting to grow on me... Thinking about either polishing or painting them once I've lowered it
  11. I see what you did there... Hmmm... We'll see!
  12. There's one from an r34 on eBay at the moment

Just had my first successful fix thanks to these forums! My factory boost gauge stopped working and a little searching helped me to diagnose and fix it! Thanks SAU!
  14. I'd be keen to make the trek if I wasn't working
  15. I see a number of r33 and r34 skylines parked along Nicklin Way between Minyama and Currimundi every day but yet there seem to be virtually no active SAU members from the sunny coast?
  16. Thanks man, sorry it's taken me so long to reply! Car is going great, so far all I've done is wax it and replace the side and front indicators with nismo ones have taken it for a couple of spirited drives and really happy with it Next up is a set of tien springs
  17. I might come for a look! Not confident enough to take the 34 on the track yet tho...
  18. Thanks for all the info dude - you sound very knowledgeable! Quick question; what are you referring to when you say "reference cards"? Cheers
  19. Give me a place and time
  20. Hey thanks I'll check it when I pick it up tomorrow - it's not very loud from memory, just a nice, subtle note Hi Dan, thanks for the reassurance, we were really impressed with Paul at Motorman, he was very honest and knowledgeable Cheers mate, me too!
  21. Yeah Paul is a legend! I swear he's the only person there doing ANY work! Plus he is disturbingly honest - one of the reasons we decided to buy from him PICS:
  22. Thanks for the advice From all the real-world comparisons I've read, twin 660s will outdo anything except a 690 and seeing as I already have one 660, I'd rather pay $230 for a second one than pay over a grand for a 690... I've seen microstutter mentioned on a few forums but no-one seems to go into any depth about what it actually is - only that it's rarely noticeable on most decent mobo/GPU setups? As for the RAM, that was a typo sorry - I already came to that conclusion myself because ivy bridge doesn't seem to utilise higher RAM speeds Oh and I have no desire to change my monitor as it would involve buying a computer desk and chair and sacrificing sitting on the couch... My computer is my TV

Thanks man, keep me posted I'm keen
  24. Cheers mate, already posted there earlier
  25. Well, I've only been on the coast for 12 months but the import scene doesn't exactly seem to be booming... I see the occasional skyline, etc but they don't seem to have organised themselves into some kind of cohesive group? There's a monthly car meet at Auto-One Kawana - might have to head along to the next one and look for some imports
