  3. why not? pardon my questioning but car is currently stock... so all things equal, adding this product gave me 3% increase overall....doesnt that mean that it works? if i used a modified car, disbelievers will then say that maybe the car's timing, fuelling etc was modified inbetween runs. In my situation... nothing was touched, nothing can be adjusted cos it was a stock ECU. So isnt that's fair testing? print out best results? would a stock car give such varying results over 20 runs? if nothing is changed....would a worst run and a best run have such huge difference? based on what I know,...its retailing at $60 for a 1 litre can and that can treat up to 65 litres. why not tune my car on 98 drain it then retune? would love to but my car is stock...will do it again when i have all my mods but time and money are the deciding factors... plus.. if i did that... wouldn't people then attribute the performance increase to the tune and not the race fuel? Although having said that, my friend has dyno graphs of R35s on normal 98 without tuning compared to tune+additive.... and the increase is even more. But if people are already skeptical of 3% increase in a stock car... would they accept a 18.8% improvement?
  4. would dyno runs be considered as variables? or number of times of repeating the experiment to get consistent results so as to eliminate the outlying (is that what they are called?) data? i have to say we did not monitor the intake air temp but right after the last run, oil temp was 91 deg, water temp was 81 deg, intake air temp was 28 deg.
  5. That kinda fear is understandable... i'm sure Iron chef would be able to help... unfortunately, the imported cars that are already in Aust (by dealers)... tend to be even dodgier with wound back kms... best to get it brand new from official dealer then?
  6. i'm just sharing what I got from using someone's product... Before and after additive, power, torque and AFR graphs are already shown. It works as advertised no variables to confuse or mislead results. Stock ecu. So if you modified your car like getting your turbocharger high flowed...the improvement gains could be more...
  7. Hey Kushil... yeah i normally dont rev that hard too cos there's hardly any space on the roads for that plus the cops will be there waiting. just got off the phone with my friend who's making this stuff.. quite interesting process really... GTSBoy has valid points but there are certain proprietary stuff/processes inside Ozygen as well that I cant mention on public forums but we can chat on fb think u might like what Ozygen can do for u
  8. thanks for this post its a good read/discussion for what its worth, Ozygen helped my car run a bit better and made the carbon deposits come off easier so I'm happy with it for now
  9. I'd recommend Iron Chef imports. period. trustworthy, fast, friendly and aftersales service.
  10. but if its a personal experience then its not defamation rite?
  11. oh... GTSBoy, correct me if i am wrong but I think most octane boosters "give" extra power thru the combustion of a tri methy something compound in addition to raising the octane that why they "give" extra power even though on stock ecu or any ecu for that matter..... BUT that compound as a result forms a phosphate or nitrate residue/coating on the inside of engine/cylinders.
  12. Thanks for the insight GTSBoy. It could be similar to what you say about this more oxygenated fuel making the engine run slightly leaner thus getting more power yet safe because typical stock nissan engines run richer by default. Either way, I think the product is meant for people who want a bit more kick during track days without touching any settings etc as opposed to using it on a daily basis. Dont think any decent tuner will tune a daily drive on octane booster or race fuel. In fact all of them that i asked swear off octane boosters for the residue etc issue. That said... I like the additional benefits that come with it...which is the carbon cleaning part which is like a combination of octane booster plus injector cleaner but yet in reality we cant use both products at the same time and get the increase performance. why not? my tacho goes to 10,000rpm and its a BNR34, surely 8500rpm is possible?
  13. thats very true... but OEM wasnt planned for really high hp. and sometimes OEM is because of cost...
  14. here's my stock bnr34
