  1. same here...didnt see that option... if thats the case, does it mean that u dont need an engineer to certify if its rubber bush?
  2. genuine Rotas... thats an oxymoron rite? might as well say genuine fakes... LOL
  3. doesnt seem effective/impactful enough though...
  4. shouldnt people speak up against such tyranny?
  5. i agree with you as in... if we all drive and behave sensibly, the cops wont make things difficult for you. its common sense and perfectly logical. act like an ass and u get treated in kind... BUT... ".basically if he ddint like what he saw he wouldn't lift a defect, regardless of having a engineers certificate." that doesnt give the cops the right to act as god... to abuse their authority. whats the point of decent, law abiding people paying good money and obeying the law to get an engineering cert etc doing everything by the book and yet have that thrown out the window simply cos that particular cop was having a bad day???
  6. why dont u just get iron chef to import one for u? he's got quite a good rep on this forum
  7. HKS super turbo muffler... supposed to be non restrictive yet very quiet...
  8. i would like to think that most are the same but each brand has its own manufacturing process, metallurgy secrets and design philosophy that there will be differences in terms of weight, durability and heat dissipation etc but for your purpose, it shd be fine. I'd stay away from eagle conrods though as I have heard horror stories of the rods being porous and made in china... so durability/QC is a concern for me..
  9. now THIS is "absolutely mint"
  10. good point... hahahahahahaha
  11. actually i was thinking it could be from their employees or even the employer... would a loyal customer have that much angst against ppl with irrefutable evidence?
  12. if thats true.... it'll suck man... ask the cops.... "if stock exhaust fails... what do u want me to do?!?!" LOL
  13. such harsh words... "Flea" ? LOL
  14. think u can just show that its stock...then they'd clear the EPA? cant EPA u for a stock exhaust right?
  15. yeah this is the main reason.... Brisbane and its suburbs is not exactly what u'd term as small plus these are definitely not their daily rides so....
  16. seems like iron chef is currently leading with the most number of "likes"
  17. so there's 2 portions to importing big items then? ur shipper who ships it to the port... then u have to find your own broker to clear it which excludes transport to your address? yeah sounds like a lot of red tape for nothing
  18. considering how much we love skylines...i dont think the crooks will simply be handed over to the cops...at least not in one piece...
  19. walbro 255 supports 12V bosch 044 is not an intank pump. its external and is bloody noisy. for most apps, walbro 255 is enough. get 2 if u need then u'll need a surge tank. Sard's 2L one is really pretty and neat. just make sure u add/replace the gasket that they give u. after that u might wanna look at an aftermarket fuel rail and fuel lines... crimped connectors with kevlar lines, aeroquip or earls
  20. if $$$ is not a problem sure knock yourself out but if $$$ is not infinite, then maybe u should plan on reasonable upgrades. Why pay for a part that can take 2000hp when u will only ever have 1000hp unless of course the price is the same then by all means. u can make a car fast and reliable without spending exorbitant amounts of $$...
  21. for someone to be able to appreciate such cars, they are most likely to have done their homework. but to pay so much for a clone/fake/replica....?!??!
  22. the Brembo GTR/GT series for the skylines seems like there is quite a lot of interest for the R35's calipers onto R34 etc but there a lot of fabrication etc and the rear drum doesnt work unless u weld some insert etc...so was wondering why not the GTR/GT series which would probably have all the installation brackets etc to fit nicely onto, say, the R34. and the rear drum would work without weld etc. anyone got experience with the GTR/GT series?
  23. i thought he was just talking abt the R35 brembos... the Brembo GTR/GT series... i thought since they are vehicle specific... shouldnt they come with brackets and not require custom brackets etc? http://www.brembo.com/it/Auto/Racing/Prodotti-strada/Documents/GT-GTR-RACING%20PACK%20Application%20list.pdf
