  2. Hey Jeremy, having much luck? I'm keeping an eye out for any. When I see them i'll post em here you can have a look. Hopefully you'll be able to sort your car out without too much cost involved.. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/hunters-hill/cars-vans-utes/1996-nissan-skyline-sedan/1016396371 Theres actually a few around on gumtree for around 5 grand. And then you could use the orange lemon for spares http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/northbridge/cars-vans-utes/1995-nissan-skyline-r33-gts-t/1016694397# http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/bowral/cars-vans-utes/r33-series-2-skyline/1016759912 http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/wagga-wagga-2650/cars-vans-utes/nissan-skyline-gts-t-r33-turbo/1016784828
  3. Sorry for bump, anyone know where I could get one of these?
  4. Hey! Nothing wrong with that silver r33 Yeah disk recorder would work well I think. I think this would be a good position for a recorder, but maybe tilt it up more..
  5. Yeah I always thought that would be an issue with external cameras. Might be worth getting a sound recorder aswell and mounting that somewhere else.. Might have a little better audio quality?
  6. Ah ok, well theres always next time! Might be time to invest in one for myself
  7. Thanks all for the awesome day! Glad I didn't end up getting lost Good to meet people. Loving the pics! and yeah, keen for the next one The guys with gopros (or similar) get any decent videos? some aaarrbbee noise?

  9. Nothing like a public holiday for plenty of time to work on the car Just spent this morning cleaning out the afm because I think she's running a little rich. Afm was nice and black and whatnot. Sprayed her out with some brake cleaner and its looking brand new Removed the manual bleed boost controller and set up the standard system so that I can pass my second rego inspection And now to get started on tightening the right handbrake.. 5 minutes in, calipers off now for the rotor.. Which requires getting off that big ass 36mm nut. Turns out biggest we've got here is 32, biggest everyone we have contacted has 32. Supercheap only sells up to 32 and nothing else is open on a public holiday.. Why nissan why!! Still waiting to hear back from a few people about sockets. But all in all, been a not too bad day..
  10. Lol Not a Pulsar. Not sure what that link was too but I managed to find this spotted! of yours. This is the car I recently purchased and will be requiring wheels for to pass rego! Small world! ...Well, maybe just small Canberra
  11. Spotted a nice black r33 in the canberra hospital staff parking in the multistory
  12. are people meeting here? If so, what time?
  13. Hey guys im pretty keen. I'm still a 'cruise virgin' so hopefully ill be free. Sounds sweet
  14. Ok guys, found the source of the problem. This is strange, I found a switch underneath the steering wheel labelled "Reduce Lights".. Switching this to Off stops the lights from Fading away. Anybody know about this or why it would be installed?
  15. Mate you would be a life saver! I'll pm you
  16. Hey guys, just failed rego inspection because my tyres are too wide. Looking to borrow some wheels from someone. If anyone can help me that would be great. PM Thanks all!
  17. Thanks for the reply guys. BWGTR you wouldnt happen to have a link to that thread would you? I have done a few searches and can't seem to find it
  18. Hey guys, Have bought myself an r33 series 2 gtst. I noticed the other night when sitting still in traffic or sitting at lights with my foot on the brake and clutch the headlights dim.. And then as soon as I take my foot off the brake they come back up to normal again.. Is this a normal thing? Or could it be signs of an alternator going? Battery was changed just a couple months ago by previous owner. Thanks, Chris
  19. Thanks guys. Yeah sorry Brad unsure of the offsets, couldnt find much on the net either. But the rears are 265/35 and the fronts 235/40
  20. Hey guys, new here. Bought the car last thursday. Names Chris 1996 GTS25t Series II HKS HiPower 3.5" Catback HKS SSQV bov 18" Rota Grids staggered 19.5 & 18.5 with Federal Semi's Generic Pod filter Bleed valve pushing 10psi tops
  21. Hello from Canberra guys. My names Chris, just bought my first skyline last Thursday. '96 gtst 108k kms, imported in 02. Has some mods installed, not that i've done, which are - rotas 18x9.5 rear with 265/35 and 18x8.5 front with 235/40. HKS HiPower 3.5” Cat back exhaust that sounds so smooth it nearly makes me cry. Has a HKD SSQV bov which I plan to swap back to stock as the HKS is really fricken loud. Generic pod filter installed, not sure what to do with that.. Still thinking about it... Has a bleed valve installed and is pushing 10psi, I hope to install and electronic boost controller one day. Has small amount of panel damage to left skirt and some slight gutter rash to right rear. Interior is pretty mint which is great, exterior is tidy. Heres some pics. Pretty keen to get to some meets and meet some of you guys Thanks, Chris
