Im talkin bout the Garret GT 25/30 , i believe . from the page ive been lookin @ . and posted before . I understand what ur sayin bout pumpin in more fuel without changin injectors ... I was only sayin that cause i was thinkin of the budget , but i think i can do it since i based my amount on a 30/40 . I will get some 500cc injectors cheers ... I thought the GT25/30 was Garret ? wats all this HKS business can someone send me a link to prices on HKS then if thats wat i need .. Hope i wasnt lookin at wrong thing all da time (if u cant tell i new to forced induction cars ) Thanks lads !

okies ... well ill get da GT 25/30 ? ya and i have also been told da intercooler setup n pipin will be with silicon tubing that ok ya ? Keep on posting up fellaz Cheers!

So ? get a GT25/30 or GT25/35? then change the compressor wheel and turbine wheel on that ? ... me gettin confused now ... Im sure the GT25/30 will be fine ( remember i am doin everything BUT injectors )

hmmmz ... well i got da extra $$ and if i dont do it now and im sure it will be one day ... Wat are the benifits wif retuning the standard ECU ? wat besides visual readouts do u get from a New ECU . i dont mind either one but i still would prefer to save the money as i aint totally dumb. If any1 got retuned ECU lemme know wat u gettin out at rear hehe oh and go hard Morgs

cool. its done . ill order one on monday . Then get it all installed and dynod up and ill let u all know how i went Thanks heaps for ur comments ... I knew the 30/40 was to big , i aint lookin for a full drag car . Just a nice street car that can be taken out if i wanted and boost it up for some action ... Cheers all and safe driving

im wanting 200kw rw . . would a GT 25/30 handle that or should i go for another unit ? is the figure x1.74 of the KW pwr = HP ?

Thank u all (only 2) for ur comments i appreciate it. I was thinkin Exactly that , the GT30/40 would be a lil big for rb20 , however i been reading on http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/cat...ategory12_1.htm that the 30/40 IS suited for a RB20 , but wat cost? I guess wat u are telling me is that GO THE GT 25/30? or GT25/35 even better? Will it put to much load on the car ? or am i being realistic about this turbo (gt25/30) being rated AT 320HP which is fine , but he was sayin why stop there if u would be movin UP in future in power get it NOW instead of buy it later and be stuck wif a smaller turbo .. Would it just make more sence to get a GT28 or just keep my original one and HIGH FLO it ? I will get the engine looked @ when i get the head ripped off and stuff. Thanks for ur info guys . Im more inclined to beleive ppl here that have TRYED and PAID for their conversions then beleive a SALES man trying to SELL me a big ass turbo for a lil ass 2.0L . I just want to get it right NOW. and not wish i chose something BIGGER or BETTER So ur saying Keep standard Turbo ? and change the internals ? ive herd ppl have some issues with that . Hi guys , im currently lookin to upgrade from standard T28 to the GT model turbos . I have spoken to a friend who used to work at a performance place and said that this turbo would be better then runnin a smaller turbo like the GT 25/30 , saying because puttin the engine under to much stress from boosting it up to much with a smaller turbo . (The cars done 140,000kms) . Saying that the boost would come on earlier and still create alot of good power (on standard internals still) , im inclined to think of more wat most ppl have tried already , maybe i havent done enough searchin on this forum for the answer but can someone PLZ help me with, ANY experience with RB20 and GT30/40 setups . He also said if it lags we can install anti-lag thing on it (like da rally cars have) .. What would u guys do if u were me ... Im not lookin to crack my lil RB20 to bits , but i know i am lookin to go at least 200rwkw .. Any Turbo selection advice for this would be great THANK! . Oh and he said its pretty much the same as a to4 . So should i just stick with the smaller turbo like 25/30 ? can it do all that i want without stuffin my engine

Yer hill Climb sounds awsome, block off yarramundi and go up the moutain to springwood i say my mates do it alot on their bikes... I actually live in Richmond .... wat sortaa car u drive? are u in the RAAF? cause heaps of them raafies have skylines wouldnt supprise me if theres some here

Im looking for street/strip use for my car . so i rekon an uneducated guess for best turbo setup on an RB20DET would be gt2530 garret highflow ? Also i am thinking of doin the rebuild for the RB20 since im an Exv8 head at heart internals are my main stay of an engine still is it viable to do a full rebuild for the amount of extra HP u get outa it ? assuming ur running a say 2.1jun stroker kit forged pistons with a gt2530 turbo . What is the comparison to that and the standard 2 litre with just the turbo and intercooler? I am seriously thinking about putting NOS on the RB20det thats why i sorta want forgeys but 100+hp is alot im thinking i wont need a boost that big with NOS. maybe just stick with the standard internals run a 50hp jet nos system and gt2530 turbo? Is this a realistic goal ? I just need some feedback from owners of RB20det's or wise know alls to lemme know ,has any1 done this setup before? and wat power gains do u think are achievable. Preferably i am lookin at about 400HP at the RW .. but ill be happy with 300hp RW with standard internals and no NOS and just the big turbo kit. Yer so theres alot more into it then wat i said i know that just give me a ruffy and ill work with it... Ive found these fourms to be a wealth of knowledge and im confident someone out there has done something like this ... Or would it be better of just wacking in the RB25det and using that as a benchmark block? I know most ppl will say GO BIGGER but how easy it that ... If i wanted to go bigger i woulda just got another V8 im after something else this time , any ideas would be extreamly helpful

Good to see you guys come out my way , its amazing how many fabulous roads are out here ( i live near penrith have done for 24 yrs) i am aware of putty Rd and its appealing nature , its goes for AGEEES and up and down man u guys woulda had so much fun and all them AWSOME cars ... wattaa sight ! hope to see u out here more often drop by richmond maccaz before u head down heeh , maybe by that time my car will be beside every1 elses... There are so many great cruises out here if u guys not familiar with areas up mountains and down PM me i can give u easy maps

Bump!! Need info on a good Turbo for Rb20det's is the standard flange on a 32 skyline a t3? wats the best bang for ur buck is it the GT2530 ? or do u think something for around 400hp be unrealistic? aand if so wat lag would u get ? if much at all.. note: Long time browser not a poster in this fourms as im building my car and dont have a start on it yet lol

Nice car mate, really appealing ... Pity im not buying just now , i hate seeing all these nice cars goin by and ppl snap them up before i can afford them damn insurance is 3557$ it aint easy when ur 15 grand short as well . Good luck with the sale im envyous
