Car covers by ultimate auto trim
Robocop2310 replied to CU's GTR's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Sounds good. Looking forward to some photos? Could you also mention approximate prices? Because I saw a genuine pair for like $2,000. -
Experience with Performance Plus in sunshine for tuning?

Thanks guys. Interesting that not many people have gotten their cars tuned here. I might have to return to Chasers. -
R33 GTR Build
Robocop2310 replied to AntsR33GTR's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I can confirm that the bonnet lip doesn’t go completely from one side to the other but most cheaper copies may be longer. I personally prefer the shorter one but it’s doesn’t matter. -
Need info about ground point r34 gtt
Robocop2310 replied to Thegame1594's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Check your earth wire for any damage or tears then clean the surface of where to contact as dirt and paint will cause friction. -
So what’s the main theme here? Classics only or anything that have “chrome” on them and did it take places and what demographics participated?

Seeing you posted in the transmission/drivetrain section, I will assume you are only asking about upgrading these components to handle about 120kw more. If you go above 400bhp you will have to swap the stock clutch assembly but, if you resist the urge to do 7000rpm launches, an upgraded clutch cover will grip a standard Nissan organic spinner to give nice drivability with good grip. Really high power applications, or lots of abusive starts, will require something much more heavy-duty in the form of a multi-plated clutch. Triple-plate clutches can hang on really well, and have reasonable drive characteristics, rather than being on-off switches like some other multi-plate units but will be very stiff and horrible for daily drives. I would set aside $2,000-$4,000 for something like Os Giken or HKS and a good mechanic (prices might be little higher as it’s been a long time since I looked into tranny upgrades so ring around).

And how is this different to any other boost boost gauge?
-
Ha ha ha!!!!!! Gold.
-
Well yes, and all that too! But my pet hate is “Stance nation” crazy camber. I just don’t get it.
-
This is just my personal opinion but do not stretch your tires too much or else it makes the wheel look like hub caps.
-
Mate, it’s way over due for a long service with above usual fixes. A major usually occurs at around 90k-100k.

Can SAU write to Nissan as a club or try contacting them as I don’t know about others, but I hate uncertainty and I’ve tried contacting them and as some have corrected said they don’t give a damn about grey imports. Like most, I don’t want to lose an eye or have half my face mangles by an airbag that’s suoopsss to safe lives.

Why do people hate the R33?

100% correct. Best comment in years -
I think you’re right mate. Cheers

Hey mate, I ruled out faulty coils and sparkies as you’ve just bought brand new ones. I mentioned exhaust as holes in the piping or blockage can cause misfire and suttering. Come to think of it also try cleaning your AFM. Cheers -
Welcome Emmet. I'm glad you've given up Vtec yo for RB yo! lol But seriously, welcome and hope you'll enjoy your car. Any reason not to get a turbo? Cheers, Alex

Thanks guys. I have a 1996 R33 GTR and 1999 R34 GTR. Anyone with similar care having got the all clear? I have rung Nissan several times and they have not been forthcoming.

Please help! RB25DE NEO Spluttering
Robocop2310 replied to TwoPercentAsian's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey mate, it sounds like it could either be an engine problem or exhaust related issue. You need to have a good mechanic have a proper look at it. Are you able ro take a video of the problem to provide a better description? -
Waste gate and screamer pipe

Don't worry not worth the money and performance gain is next to nothing. -
Hi guys, I just saw a recent episode of 60 Minutes about Takata's exploding airbags so jumped on the IMABS website to see if our cars are affected and got the below message advising that it's unrecognised our their database possibly because it's an import so I rang Nissan and after a few transfers got to a public relations department and they couldn't advise definitively if our cars are affected or not because it's an older grey import. I don't know. I'm a bit concerned and was wondering if anyone has had any luck in finding out further details? Thanks.

Hi again. Post in the right place.
-
Nah mate, the front "Bunnings" blinker housing is what makes it super rare.
-
Exactly my point! It is subjective. ?
-
Welcome mate. By the way, is the car audio scene still healthy as most cars have factory head units now the car audio industry has clearly taken a hit!

Now, let’s us ponder for one minute. Are R33 GTST’s a rare bread? Not so much. But how about a R33 with a RB26 or a RB30 or hell a V12 engine or the like that looks like crap but is a 8 second sleeper? Is the car now rare? Holy f**k-a-ronnie, rare as tits on a bull! ?
