I agree with you mate, but to spray the rear garnish it's easily done so I would rather pay $25 for a bottle of custom spray paint then fork out something like $180 for it to be sprayed by a professional workshop seeing I already have the precise colour code.

Hey mate, I appreciate you want to give your car an unique look which is rather hard to do given so many Skylines look the same. I have seen it done once but you will have to retain the stock R34 GTR wing stands and fabricate the R33 GTR wing blade to it but if you are wanting to place the whole R33 GTR wing onto the boot of a R34 then it would be way too wide and frankly I cannot imagine how out of place it would look. You're better off going stock R34 GTR wing or R34 GTR wing stand with different looking blades or put a GT Wing on the rear which in my opinion doesn't suit the R34 but each to their own. At the end of the day it's your car so make it look how yo want it to look and screw what others think!

Mate, if you're just after a pricing estimate you can go to Redbook or look up similar cars on Carsales etc. To be frank, your car is not uncommon and accordingly to the RACV (my brother has one) is probably valued at around $7,000 - $15,000 based on mileage and the condition of the car etc.

Hey guys, I'm looking to repaint my rear boot garnish as it's a little worn and am after the correct paint called for my black R33 GTR. The sticker in the engine bay confirms paint code KH3 but when I go to a paint shop they say 3 variances pop up on their system, gloss black, gloss black with some white or engine bay gloss stain. Something like that. Just wondering if I want the closest match, what which variance would I select? Has anyone with a factory black R33 GTR had any paint mixed? Many thanks, Alex

I believe it is satin black that's what mine is but not 100% sure it is factory paint.

This is rather interesting. Although I like how my car is as is but always appreciate individuality in car design. You should get this patented once it is fully operational and complied etc. Good stuff and I’m looking forward to future updates soon.

Hi guys, I’m thinking of upgrading my R33 GTR with bigger turbos and need a good tuner closer to my home in Caroline Springs so was thinking of Performance Plus in Sunshine where Nismo (or Nisma whatever works) once was. Any one used them for tuning before and how was the service and was results vs cost descent? I usually get my car serviced and tuned at Chasers when I lived closer to there but now it’s getting a little far. By the whatever happened to Nismo anyways? Sorry guys I’ve been out of the car scene for a few years after getting married and having kids. Thanks Alex

Open up your shifter enclosure and check the shifting pattern. Did you install some sort of shorter shifter kit?
