My gut says yes. See above message but of course this is just a hunch without seeing your engine bay in person. For a cheap amount of money I would try. -

You might want to buy or borrow a cheap manual boost controller like a Turbosmart one for around $60 and plug it in. My gut feeling says it will solve all your issues as the boost pressure is being regulated whereas who knows where it’s going now? Auto stores like Autobarn and Repco should stock them. If it doesn’t work, you’ll know it’s not this issue and only spent a small amount of money, Your call of course. I have an electric boost controller and may have mistaken it but doesn’t this line hook up to a manual boost controller on some cars? -

Hey mate sorry I mistaken the GTR ones for the Nismo ones. You mean these ones? https://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fz3aU8tL.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2Fgallery%2F4M5Yy&docid=yFPgnAWXw7Lv6M&tbnid=F3JSp1gCgtOeBM&vet=1&w=480&h=360&client=safari&ved=2ahUKEwiou7nBs6beAhVigEsFHfPVCqUQMygAegQIABAw -

Hey mate, I turned it on and played 2 races and then switched it off as I want to select other cars of my choice which it didn’t allow at that stage so I got bored and never played again! When exactly can we start purchasing our own cars and upgrades?

Help with my R33 GTR wheels and spacers
Robocop2310 replied to JackieTran's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I was thinking the same too. A friend ran into issues as he didn’t have enough stud thread left and his wheels were barely hanging on. Looks is one thing but safety is paramount. -
Help with my R33 GTR wheels and spacers
Robocop2310 replied to JackieTran's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
You are right on this...Rays produce wheels in both specs. I think the OP mentioned that spacers with the OD of 66.1mm was the same as his wheels which didn't allow fitment so not sure either. -
Help with my R33 GTR wheels and spacers
Robocop2310 replied to JackieTran's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I think the problem you had was the OD was 73.1mm it needs to also be 66.1mm. And it looks like those spacer are slip-on ones not hub centric? Also be careful as you may ruin your AWD system with different wheel diameters but I've never fitted spacers to my car before so others can confirm Why do you need spacers? -
Where can I buy a custom “GTR” car cover?

Fair enough. Thanks mate. -

Thanks mate. Interesting concept. I guess if the cover itself is dirty or has dirt and rock particles stuck to it, this could in turn attach the car. Appreciate tre info. -

Thanks mate. Why don’t detailers suggeset covers? -
Hi mate, same looms as far as I am aware. Find the R33 service manual and compare the ECU Wiring diagrams with the exception of the boost solonoid.

New style Nismo carbon pillar garnish r33
Robocop2310 replied to Ty1's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
You need to unscrew a few bolts holding it against the side wall trim. There’s also a few plastic clips holding it in place. Removing the door/wall trim is done with unclipping some points with a flathead screwdriver but be gentle as it can break. -
I need help with my r34 gtt
Robocop2310 replied to Mohammed's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
For starters, a stock GTT makes about 170 kilowatts I think which is around the 230 HP mark anyway so you might even achieve your goal of 300 HP with some minor upgrades such as better airfilter, intercooler, exhaust and a good tune so you may not need a bigger turbo upgrade as your goal is fairly low. Having $4,000 is a good start. But if you’re chasing bigger power, I suggest you look up some performance workshops and ask them for prices on some turbo combo upgrades but bear in mind you may have to upgrade other things like brakes and will need a tune. There are too many options and opinions so you’re better off talking directly to the people that will do the work for cost estimates. Try giving Chasers Motorworks, Performance Plus or Advanced Turbo Performance a call if you’re closer to the western suburbs. Good luck!- 4 replies

Check for voltage leaks or your positive and earth wiring not being properly connected due to a worn out wire or something become loose. I had a similar property webt to Jaycar to buy proper end clamps and securely reconnected my speaker/sub/amp wiring and it now works perfectly. Another possible cause is one of your speakers have been damaged or worn out causing extra load on other speakers hence the distortion. Suggest you set aside some time to check everything then reconnect properly.

Rear licence plate lights - Halogen or LED?
Robocop2310 replied to Robocop2310's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Thanks mate totally agree. So I went off to Supercheap and bought a pair of Philips T1 bulbs that are non LED but is a little brighter calked Diamond vision or something. Fitted them on and made the GTR’s rear light up line a Xmas tree. I went back to the stock yellow globes that I had laying around and it looked much better in my opinion. Just shows just because something is popular or newer doesn’t mean it will suit everyone’s taste. Personally, I hate yellow as front and parker lights but they definitely suit the rear licence plate area. -
New style Nismo carbon pillar garnish r33
Robocop2310 replied to Ty1's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Yep totally ageeed mate...but, the new one looks much newer and clean! I have the older garnish on my R33 GTR and the bottom ends are starting to break a little but seeing it’s an older car I don’t mind it looking a little brittle. ? you can certainly get the Nismo and caps directly from Nissan or good online stores but it only shows on one side as Nismo mirrored obviously won’t look right and having it read from left to right on the left side is a bit funny.
