  1. I don't see any Skylines in your photo or are my eyes betraying me. Skylines. Sure, post photos up.
  2. I had this happen to my RB26...turned out to be lose pulley's or worn out timing belt. Check both and also check radiator hosing and airbox/pod housing for any holes. Good luck.
  3. I reckon this sort of bodykit would suit R32's more because of their default boxier design. R33's are curvy so turning them into a boxy design looks a little odd but this would suit GT3 style racing but I must admit...it is growing on me.
  4. Hey mate. I asked around and actually rang Nissan to ask. They said with lowered suspension and bigger wheels with wide tires for GTR's anything from -2 to -3 rear front and rear is relatively "normal" and fine to drive. It makes me wonder how some of the Stance Nation guys can have up to -7 camber. Looks ridiculous and drives like crap.
  5. Yeah I'm with you on this one. I brought my car back to the wheel aliment place (Tyre Factory franchise) and this time they were able to get it down to -2.0 whilst still achieving a balanced 0.00 degree head on alignment. They said that because my wheels are so large 19" and wide this type of camber is expected and perfectly normal but I agree with you one would thought if everything is fine then why wouldn't it be straight 100%.
  6. No worries mate. Try a few combos with the buttons like holding lock/unlock together for 5 seconds then just lock and then separately just unlock for 5 seconds and then try unlocking to see if it's turned back on. Otherwise, try resetting the remote. Besides that call Nissan and get them check it out. Good luck.
  7. This is how my rear currently looks. Never really noticed the camber on the rear but R33 GTR's with larger wheels tend to have -2.2+ camber on the rear. Anyone know how much camber this GTR is running?
  8. This has probably been covered many times, but I would suggest pod filter (K&N and Trust make good ones), good exhaust system and proper suspension and what I would do to my NA.
  9. It's how your remote has been programmed. Are you using a stock remote or aftermarket? Most remotes will change how the lights/sounds are triggered by programming the remote. Try holding the lock and unlock buttons together for 3 seconds to trigger lights off and on again during unlocking/locking. Let us know how you go. Cheers.
  10. Give these guys a call. A mate of mine had a friend that had his seats repaired by these guys and he seemed happy. I have never used them personally but have chat with them and let us know how you go. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/revesby/other-automotive/car-seat-upholstery-repair-sydney-leather-car-seat-repair/1101453969
  11. Hi mate, appreciate the response. I got a wheel alignment done today and it turned out that I have -1.5 at the front and around -2.2 camber on the rears which is pretty much spot on to what you said. I hate "Stance Nation" camber with a passion so I guess mine isn't too bad as is as I do have big 19" wheels and big tires that stick out a little. So I guess this is OK. I only dive occasionally and like taking corners with more grip was just wondering if my camber is "normal" as don't want it to look out of wack. Ps. Why do Stance people like outrageous negative camber so much? I think it's hideous.
  12. Hi guys, I was washing my car today and noticed that my wheels had some negative camber on both the front and rear more so the rear, that is the bottom end is slightly sticking out a little. I checked and the wheel is attached tightly to the hub etc so this must be a camber arm thing. A few of my friends also have this on their cars so just wondering if this is normal? Below is a photo of this from some sources on the web to illustrate my point.
  13. My friends have purchased body kits from Car Mate and they turned out to be good and require little modifications to fit. Have a look for yourself. http://www.carmate.com.au/
  14. I personally rather leave the seats worn than cover them with basic seat covers as it kind of adds a tough and rugged feel to the car but each to their own. Sample picture below. https://goo.gl/images/5bmTCq
  15. Thanks mate. I thought the series 3 front indicator slots are a little different too but I stand to be corrected. Anyway I decided in the end to not install the canards as using double sided tape was tacky and glue would be the same as screwing them on plus it looked a bit showy. I’m a fan of the clean look anyway.
  16. I was going to suggest those fully awesome flying dragon flames ones but I’d your Skykine is not a GTR you can also try those Nismo covers - about $50 each. AXS Car Seat Cover Suits Nismo Slip On Throw Over Single Black https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F262060566704
  17. Thanks for all your replies. I might look at some options as I don’t want to damage my front bar ahd certainly don’t want to get another one as it’s a genuine series 3 GTR front bar. Thanks again guys.
  18. Hi guys, I'm wanting to add some carbon fiber canards to the front of my R33 GTR (original series 3 bumper) but don't want to drill holes in case I want to remove them in the future. Do you know if there are any industrial strength double-sided tape or the like to keep them in place but won't ruin the paint on my bumper if I decide to remove them in the future? I don't like the 4-piece AutoSelect/ACE style ones which extend onto the front indicators and are looking to get the simple two-piece ones like shown below but because they're not specifically made for the R33 GTR bumper there's some gaps in the centre so will need to be apply more tape to fill gaps. Any experiences here guys? I don't just don't want to drill holes into my bumper.
  19. I think you make a good point. One time, a cops were at the lights and I was already across the road and the red lights came on so they didn't to turn on their flashing lights to go for me and I "respectfully" stopped. They caught up to me and then checked my licence and said because you've been a good driver and respectful they're not going to waste my time and bid me farewell.
  20. They actually look quite very nice. Where did you get them from? Nengun Performance has them for a crazy $1,700 plus postage. Wow. https://www.nengun.com/nismo/seat-cover-set-skyline-gtr
  21. Sure is different. I mean, can you imagine cutting up your GTR and putting these "bolt on's" on. Yuck. Like the previous post nicely put it...these bodykits are aimed at rich people with more money than brains!
  22. Ha ha ha...I loved and cannot agree more with your comment...yep, people who put on these hideous abominations have more money than brains...that's one thing for sure! lol
