  1. Hey guys, I haven't cleaned my GTR out for a while and will be doing so this weekend and was wondering what waxing compound would be good to use. I'm not after super expensive stuff just something that will give it a descent shine and will last a few weeks. Any ideas? Something simple to use without mixing with other compounds would be best. Could you please give some recommendations, where to buy it and the cost? Cheers, Alex
  2. Hi guys, I don't drive my R33 GTR often but this morning started noticing that my car's RPM gauge (stock factory) is acting funny in the sense that it would sometimes get stuck at 5,000 RPM and then not rev over that and then come back down again and then sometimes it spins up and down a few times and resets to 0 again. I don't think it's a mechanical or engine issue and my car drives normally but perhaps it something to do with the gauge or the wiring itself? Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix it? Thought I'd check here first before taking it to a motor mechanic. Cheers, Alex
  3. I would stay away from these...secondly, if you do go for them make sure you get hub centric ones that bolt straight onto your hub for safety and ensure all 4 wheels are the same as it will ruin your AWD system otherwise. But once again, getting better wheels not spacers.
  4. It looks the following: 1) Slap a R33 GTR Bee-R Style GT wing on: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R33-GTR-Bee-R-Style-GT-Spoiler-Wing-Carbon-Fiber/302327591309?hash=item466420f18d:g:nCQAAOSwEHpZJr~C 2) Then buy a standard universal GT wing designed for the R34 GTR and remove side caps and legs then connect with metal clips: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CARBON-FIBER-56-8-UNIVERSAL-GT-Rear-Wing-Trunk-Spoiler-NISSAN/352172974893?fits=Plat_Gen%3AR33&hash=item51ff25232d:g:tL4AAOSwulxbdSSl Result: ugly piece of crap that doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a Skyline. In my honest opinion, the original R33 GTR looks great as is but if you want to spice it up a little then get the 400R Nismo Carbon Fiber style wing blade: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ACE-Twin-Spoiler-Blade-For-Nissan-Skyline-R33-GTR-Nismmo-Carbon-Fiber-Styling/142186951625?hash=item211b00b3c9:g:lJAAAOSwgQ9VxEDF Cheers, Alex
  5. Hi mate, it's your car so do what you want but I highly advise against it as I've seen a few vinyl wrapped cars and none of them look descent. A new respray would be 100 times better but of course I appreciate the cost. Have a look here for some ideas: https://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/141332-none-more-black.html
  6. Hey mate, this post is 2 years old I know but just wanted to say thanks as I just bought the same Nismo badge for my R33 GTR and it looks really good exactly the same as the ones on the R35 GTRs not the cheap ones on eBay. Good find as I looked everywhere on eBay with no success.
  7. Hi guys, a mate of mine gave me his dual Sony Xplod 1000W Sub Woofers out of his Skyline recently as he was selling his car. It also comes with a Kenwood Amplifier, Aerpro HIgh Performance Capacitor and all wiring. I've heard him play music out of this thing and it's a beast. I don't know much about Sub Woofers so prefer that you drop by to inspect this before purchasing as it is sold as is with no guarantees and due to heavy size you will have to organise your own courier if you want it shipped to another state. I'm chasing $400 for the whole thing but am open to offers. I'm told my mate paid over $1,500 for this setup not including the wiring so pick up a bargain. I have no use for it so just want it gone to a good home and someone that will enjoy it! Please PM or text me on 0401966954 for details and offers. Cheers, Alex
  8. Many thanks guys! Much appreciated.
  9. Removing battery from my R33 Hey guys, I'm trying to remove the battery from the rear of my R33 and for the life of me I just can't - the stud that the nuts are screwed on are too long for me to stick anything in there and the screw itself is too pushed in for me to get in there comfortably. I just hate it how the battery is in the rear any ideas guys? Much appreciated. Cheers, Alex

  11. This is nice mate. Perhaps the paint on the letter O could be a bit more like the R35 GTR badge you made but otherwise great! Can you please PM me a price. Many thanks.
  12. Definitely a "work horse" - post up some pictures after you're done I'm sure it will look great! Good luck with the WTAC too.
  13. Appreciate the sharing mate...definitely an industry trick as it does look very good. I like how your car is clean. Keep away from any stickers or "ricey" items and you'll be on the straight and narrow! :-) Thanks again mate.
  14. You need to get 1K+ grit sandpaper and then wet dry it back. Then try cutting it with compound and then blend it back with some polish. It all depends on how bad it is. Post up some pictures if you want a second opinion.
  15. Uumm....not my taste but it does look different and Dragon Ball Z rocks (much better than the new Super series).
  16. I got the exact same coloured LED's for my dash and gauges. However, I would leave the dome light LED yellow white and also the same with the centre console. If you want readability and visibility then stay with yellow white but the dash is fine with Blue and it actually looks much better IMO. Cheers
  17. THat's nice mate....clean in both the sense of the car and the wash! Care to share what products and steps you did to get it this clean and shining? Good job.
  18. Hi mate, I'm not sure how to describe what the letter O should be made of but I just want it to be exactly as shown in the photo. In terms of size, maybe H: 2.5cm, W: 13cm . Thanks
  19. Hi, I'm after a nice custom NISMO Badge for my R33 GTR. Something like this. Can you make me say 3 and how much?
  20. Agreed. I bought a roll of this CF-lookalike wrap on eBay just to try wrapping the centre console garnish piece on my R33 and it look really cheap. Maybe I didn't know what I was doing but it just looked cheap.
  21. You're thoughts make sense mate. But, leave the car idling for a while while stationary isn't good for it and I don't mind stepping into my car and starting up my aircond which will take 2 minutes. Anyway, I suppose there is some good in remote starts.
  22. Suggest you scrap it for a new system altogether. Like a Viper. BTW, Remote Start is a big "wanky" imo.
  23. Why would you bother. Just enjoy your lag-free NA and when the time comes go buy a turbo Skyline.
  24. Actually, I think I just found it on eBay...it's about $90 AUD. Sounds, right? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-2014-JUKE-NISMO-EMBLEM-ON-REAR-GATE-HATCH-NISMO-W-RED-O-/271288480104?hash=item3f2a0db168:g:Jr8AAOSw34FVFdKL&vxp=mtr
