Different Rear Gtr Badge On R33 Gtr
Robocop2310 replied to Robocop2310's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Hey mate, Tim's work is obvious of high quality but I'm not after anything custom or aftermarket want the genuine stuff but wouldn't mind some thoughts on which type may be an alternative. Cheers -
If you willing to travel about 20 minutes to the West near Highpoint go to Highpoint Muffler Centre. They're not cheap but they do a good job. I haven't been back for a long time but they were great to me when I got my exhaust slightly kicked to one side.

Different Rear Gtr Badge On R33 Gtr
Robocop2310 replied to Robocop2310's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Thanks mate. I'm assuming you know I was referring to what would look OK on my R33 GTR. I agree with you though, the R32 GTR badge is a little curved to suit the R32's boot so would probably look funny on a R33. Perhaps the same can be said about the R35 badge so I'm leaning towards either stick with another R33 GTR badge or try the R34 one as they booth look somewhat similar. -
Bumper / Bonnet Options R33 Gtst S2
Robocop2310 replied to Torques's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I can confirm that a front GTR bumper will fit but you will need to fold the sides in a little as the GTR guards are of course wider, however, the Bonnet will require a new bonnet latch etc to make it work. I suggest you do some research first before buying the bonnet or front bar to ensure it will fit with some modification. -
Do You Have Random People Hitting Your Car?
Robocop2310 replied to IM-32-FK's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
You know what, call me paranoid but a few people have given us Skyline drivers and most sports car owners in general a bad label of "hoon" etc so although I don't think people go targeting us on purpose or anything, I definitely think they are less careful when parking nearing us and therefore less forgiving. -
Personally, I would leave the S1 decal off as it makes the rear look a little crowded IMO. Post up some pics.

Hi guys, as the title suggests, I noticed the rear GTR badge on my R33 GTR was recently vandalised or something so it's a little damaged so I am thinking about replacing it with another GTR badge from another generation of GTR's. I don't like the rear R32 GTR badge as it looks a little small, the R33 GTR one is of course designed for the R33 but I was thinking of perhaps changing it up and going with a GTR badge from either the R34 or R35. Has anyone done this and any photos? I'm not trying to turn my R33 GTR into a R34 or R35 (nor would I want to) but just thought I'd be nice to swap the rear GTR badge seeing it's damaged anyway. Thanks guys. R32 GTR: R33 GTR: R34 GTR: R35 GTR: .

Where To Get Do Luck Rear Bumper For Gtr From?
Robocop2310 replied to Skysthelimit's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Hi mate, are you after a genuine one or a copy? The genuine ones cost thousands and the copy ones really do not look good and fitment isn't usually very good. I would urge you to keep the correct GTR rear bump and buy a set of nice side apron fins to compliment the sides. I had a friend that was after some rear bodykits and he said X-Treme Motorsports in QLD were good: http://www.localsearch.com.au/profile/x-treme-motorsport/qld/townsville/garbutt/xzyV Good luck. -
Hey guys, appreciate all your help. It's those black indicator backing enclosures housing the indicators...one broke but all good - I managed to pick up a pair of Kudos Motorsports for around $80.00 shipped. Hopefully they will fit flush. Whilst I'm at it - any tips on cleaning those lights? Mine is a bit like the one White GTR in the photo - it's not too bad but a bit Yellowy. Many thanks.

Hey guys, so frustrating - I just got my front bar nicely painted and as drove out of the workshop one of my front indicator enclosures on my GTR Front bar fell loose and broke. It's ridiculous how these things are so rare and they're worth nearly $600 to replace (including the clear globe housing). So does anyone here know where I can get a new pair more cheaper or even better know where I can buy just one? I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Please help...I'm so frustrated. Many thanks in advance. Cheers

Hi everyone, my RHS front indicator enclosure recently fell loose and was damaged. I looked everywhere for a replacement and could only find them in a set for almost $400. Then I will have to buy the clear globe housing that's another $200. That's nearly $600 and I only need one side. Surely there are cheaper alternatives. Can someone please share with me what you would do in these circumstances. I live in the West side of Melbourne. http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/131682172434 Genuine Nissan Front Bar Indicator Set - Nissan Skyline BCNR33 GTR

Great paint jobs but cannot compare to original factory paint don't care what anyone says. I suggest you buy a set in black and not get them reprinted. Just don't feel and look the same.

Daily Driven Skylines?
Robocop2310 replied to SoulScene's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Don't drive my R33 GTR daily as I have a company car besides fuel costs too much, not the most comfortably car to be in for long distances and attracts too much attention. -
It's not that crash hot mate

Be prepared so spend about $5,000.
