  1. They started with a 286, then moved to a 386, then they went to a 386 SX 33, then they brought out the big daddy 486 DX2 66.
  2. You don't see ladies around anymore.
  3. I can't refer you to anyone or anything. All i can say is hang in there. Once you get used to it, it's a really good job. When i first got into sales, i hated having to call people, and try and convince them they need something. Now i have no problem what so ever. Now i will even tell them what they need and how many. And with cold calls i look at it this way. You call them and they say they don't need anything, o ryou don't call them and never find out. Also presistence is the key. You may get rejected by the same person once a fortnight for 3 months. Eventually they are going to think "this guy calls me every fortnight no mater what, i'll give him a try"
  4. Vange... that could be it. Is he gone?
  5. There used to be a guy on here drove an R33, and it was always parked on hindly (spelling??) st during the working week. This isn't intended to be rude but he was of greek, or italian decent i think.
  6. lol and you have nothing to base that one what so ever. Pure speculation.
  7. We've still got autumn to go...
  8. I don't see the mod scene being any different from that of any r32, 33, 34, supra, etc, etc. There is going to be lots of cheap crappy shit out there as well as quality stuff. If you want your car to be better just don't put the hetik 20 inch chromies on it. And the more people developing parts for this car the better. If the market is full of aftermarket mods then you'd need to have a damn good product to get anyone to buy it.
  9. ^^^ And once you start getting really nice cars you also have to pay "luxuary car tax" which is on top of your stamp duty. It's just crazy.
  10. lol vista is going to be around for a long while yet.
  11. come on butts your supposed to be sick in bed, never mind the fact im at work right now.
  12. I can't understand how anyone in their right mind would think warming up their car slowly is a good idea. It just boggles the mind. A guy at work with a skyline does it, and i always say startin driving straight away, bring it up to temp sooner rather than later. Most wear occurs when the engine is cold... so getting the temp up quicker is the best thing for it. It doesn't mean rev it to redline it just means drive it like you would if your grandma was in the car until the temp gets up to normal.
  13. Will be playing some okami this weekend. My car is f**ked so no spending money for me this weekend. Also currently playing Advance Wars Dual Strike on NDS bloody sweet game.
  14. So why bother getting a damn good cpu and 4 gig of ram?? It's like getting your engine completly stripped down, rebuilt with forged internals, bottom end toughened up, blue printed, dropping titanium valves in it. Then you say "Oh i'll just run the standard turbo, i don't boost it much" Waste of money full stop.
  15. I posted this in NS and thought i'd put it up here too. Just reading the latest AMCN (Australian Motorcycle News) And they had a little bit in the news section that certainly has me excited. And i quote.... $25M MOTO MECCA FOR SA Adelaide looks set to receive a $25m motorsport complex very soon, with three mystery ADelaide bussinessmen expecting to secure a site in the next 12 weeks. If the complex gets the go ahead, it should feature a sealed road-racing circuit, drag strip, a speedway circuit and also has provisions to cater for jet boat racing. A spokeswoman for the three unnamed motorsport enthusiasts, Anna Mucheel, said that the first stage of the complex will be up and running within 12 months if all goes to plan. She said that the whole venue should reach completion within 15 months. "There is no other venue in Australia that can house the number of motorposrt events that they with to house," said Micheel. "It's something that Adelaide desperately needs." The investors are hopinh to secure the needed 120 hectares either in the north or north-western suburbs of Adelaide. The consortium is also proposing to include a retail park, a driving school, a training ground for emergency vehicles and a concert venue.
  16. Ummm the chassis.
  17. It'll be interesting in 20 years time. When cars like what you find on here are going to considered "old school" We may even see skylines driven by old people with the sheep skin covers lol
  18. That would be pretty cool if they had chrome bumpers. And bench seats.
  19. What would an R32 or R33 be classified as? 32's are going to be turning 20 next year.
  20. They both have the same potential for quality. Blu-rays saving grace is the ps3. Standalone players for both formats are yet to really take off. It's good though if hd dvd finishes up, it'll make it a lot easier to start a hd movie collection.
  21. Had a lady in a nice V35 300GT following me to work today on goodwood road. When we got to greenhills road i let her overtake me so i could see it from behind. Damn i want a V35.
  22. I'm just an angry person who wants to have either a skyline or stagea again
  23. I like those rims on MissR34's car. Look good. And Vu, you do realise that your car is built off the 4 door family car platform?
  24. Moving up to a GT-R gareth? nice. I thought you were selling your GT-t to get a house? I can't help in any way either sorry.
