I disagree there are hardly any cars in the world that don't go down in value. Unless it's some really really special edition a year from now it's going to be worth less. A few years ago you couldn't land a 34GTR for much under 100k now you can get nice ones in the 50k bracket. I think your better of selling it and then getting interest on the saved money, or investing it. 30 k on a car sitting in storage isn't going to make you money. But 30k sitting in a bank account getting interest sure is. Plus you've got storage fee's, insurance (what if it gets set on fire or stolen) etc, etc. If you really really love the car then keep it, but other than that i can't see any advantage in keeping it.

Well if it sits in storage it's just gonna lose you money. Sell it and when you come back you'll probably have enough for a R34 GTR

Spot on. I can buy a 42 inch plasma tv for under a grand yet neccessities in life are costing more and more. When people get extra money instead of putting it into their morgages they bprrpw again to buy more houses. Who honestly needs more than one house? Thats capitilism working for you "The market will always right itselff" yeah right. Anywho was a good engine, and said to see them close. This move to making the focus here is interesting as well. The margins in small cars are so low. Look at how competibtve the small car segment is. Yet they cost hardly any less to manufacture from what i've read. Wouldn't it be cheaper to continue getting them from South Africa? And thats my hot tip over the next 10 to 20 years you'll see africa start to become economic force in the world in manufacturing.

Not the same as your looking at. But my parents just got a golf 2.0 petrol with the 6 speed sequential box, and it's a pretty freaking sweet car. The quality of the interior and plastics is fantastic, and the build quality is excellent too. Just go into a dealership and test drive one. The current golf range is pretty fantastic in my opinion.

Wow i'm finding bioshock to be one of the best games i've played in the past few years.

Currently playing Bioshock on PC. Probably the best game i've played in a few years. I recommend everyone gets it. I've bought about 5 other games this month but haven't even really looked at them. Also currently playing with Vista as i bought that the other night.

I want to do a full upgrade end of the year. I'll wait till AMD launch there desktop quad core cpu's. And also wait till the next gen of nvidia cards our out. I could certainly use another gig of ram in the pc now using vista.

Got Vista today. Was bored at work so i rang one of my clients and asked him to put one aside for me. I just went with home premium as it has the features that i want. And was a good price. Seems pretty good to me, using it right now. On annoying thing is when my computer boots it comes to a multiboot screen with two options. 1. Older windows install (or something to that effect) 2. Windows Vista But the hdd i installed vista on was a clean install, with a format and a deletion of the existing partition. And my secondary drive is just full of my donwloads, mp3's, videos, etc, etc Anyone know of an easy way to get rid of this? It's not exactly a problem but still irritates me none the less.

Team Fortress 2 was supposed to be out a few months after Half-Life was released. So back in 1998. The orange box is looking very cool. It includs Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2 (brand new) CS:Source, Half Life deathmatch, and of course Team Fortress 2. It will be out on PC, XBOX360, and PS3. There is also a black box coming out, but that is unconfirmed for Australia at the moment.
