I already have a DVD player. And i'll have no problem playing with australians on ps3 games. It would be dumb if you can only play with people from the same country. With there being only 60,00 ps3's in australia and not everyone being online or having the same game. The servers would be pretty empty. Karl 1 - dnbutts 0

My cousin in the army in iraq managed to get me one for 399 US dollars, which with the exchange rate will be about 450. So i should have it when his deployment is over which is next month i beleive. Excellent value and i can't wait to get it.

Thats correct. Microsoft have officially dropped the price of the 360 in Australia. The cost of a Premium console has dropped from $649 RRP to $579 RRP. And the core pack is now $399 from $499. Certainly is good value (always was) Interesting now that the core console is the same price as a wii. So side by side you can guess which one will make peoples jaws drop. But the wii does come with biulit in memory, and a pack in game. Sony currently have there console with a bonus controller, and 2 games for 999.95 (good way to please early adoptors) but will need to do something seeing as how an 360 is almost half price now. In other news though i got a US model 60 gig PS3 for 450 australian dollars. Now thats good value.

I'm thinking of doing a weekend up there in the next month as i've got a mate working there this season. We used to go ever year for a week and a few day trips for the first 16 years of my life. Hey good stuff. Sega GT is an awesome game. I work for a videogame publisher and wholesaler. The new 360 is interesting. As you probably already know the elite will have a HDMi port. But they have started putting the HDMi port on all premium consoles as well. Consoles with the HDMi port are just starting to trickle into US retailers so it may be a while before you see them in stores here. As most places have plenty of hardware already in stock. The new chipset is rumored to be a little while off still. As it's a huge job shringing the core. It requires like 1600 parts to be changed. I would say get an elite when they are here (rumoured to be this month) that way you get HDMi and a 120 gig hdd.

Been playing Colin Mcrae Dirt on 360. It's pretty good actually much better than the demo. Apart from that nothing else really.

Well rockstar have come out and said that they are having trouble fitting everything on a DVD9 disc. Where as there is no such shortage of space on a blu-ray disc. Also not every 360 having a HDD is making it hard for them as they can't cache as much data as they can on the ps3. My prediction GTA4 Xbox360 on the box you will see a sticker saying "Requires HDD to play" Watch this space!! In other news., i found out the new name for the psp... and it's well yeah.

Well i seem to of fixed my wireless woes. I got another wireless adaptor. A linksys one. I now get excellent signal strength and no dropouts what so ever. Also my computer seems to boot in half the time and is more stable. I'm guessing that the netgear wire;ess adaptor just didn't agree with my hardware and/or drivers. Everything was up to date, including firmware on everything. Ohh well all good now. Also fishpaste someone from your work rang me today. Do you guys have any games in stock at all? or is that not really your area?

My computer randomly shuts down for no apparent reason either. It's either motherboard or cpu as i've i've tested everything else. I hate pc's as it means to fix it realistically i need new RAM, motherboard, and cpu, powersuply

i've got a 10,000 rpm sata drive with 16 mb cache it's only 73 gig. And i kinda wished i just bought a 300 gig standard drive, it doesn't seem that much better to me,

i'll buy the banshee of you if you don't mind, would prefer if it still has boxes and everything.
